Dear Rolling Raptor, Your editing and/or the sound of your wheels shredding, boucing or landing have played a number on me. Now, every time I skate, I'm like "I hope I look as cool as the Raptor right now", or when I'm about to jump over some challenging distance a weird quote of yours comes up "If you're not jumping you're not rolling" - or something to that extent - with that interrogatively daring accent And on top of that, you seem to live either in the netherlands or the flamish side of Belgium, so sunlight is really more of a concept to you, and you must do a lot of your rolling on wet grounds. So who am I to mistrust my ability to handle some wet days here and then and postpone rolling? Am I now unworthy of the rolling raptor label myself? Is that how I want to present myself to the world? So preach, shred, jump, roll, slide, continue to do your thing Rolling Jesus. Forgive them for they don't know what they are missing, but they will come someday Rolling Jesus. And when they will do so, they will most likely be taken aback by the fact that our leader is a long-haired, pale Dutchman jumping and rolling and sliding and shredding, with a voice that one could easily associate with a patient of a psych ward who has managed to pose as a doctor in a Kubrik's movie. but they will hear that sound, And when they hear that sound, they will be hooked to the rolling church, Keep on preaching Raptor
Dear Chris, Thank you, thank you, _thank you_ for your very nice words. Much appreciated. Now, I don't think I look that cool when I'm skating, but the trick is to just not care and enjoy the rolling itself. And I indeed live in Flanders, though the Netherlands aren't far away. I'm not a Dutchman, but I wouldn't mind Belgium and the Netherlands reuniting again. Just to be clear: once you get rolling and love the feel of wheels under your feet, you automatically acquire the label of rolling raptor. We're _all_ rolling raptors here. So keep rolling and have faith in your wheels! tim
@@TheRollingRaptor I'm sure Leon is smiling as well as thinking "what took him so long to try the PR frames? I know he alrady has/loves thr Advanced." Now you should try the NR variants and the other PR sizes to!!! of course the Adapt boots too! :-)
@@rcorser1 The boots are Seba CJ2 Prime with the Intuition V2. Love 'em! I've already got the NR90, but I'm not gonna try the other NR frames - I've already got several 4x100 frames and the Rockin' 4110, that will suffice. 😉 This setup won't fully replace my PS Next NN Dragon+ setup, but gives me more options. The Next Dragon+ remains my favourite setup for very long and intense skate flows. They're so incredibly comfortable. But the Seba CJ2 Prime actually feels even better - more responsive - but after a very intense sesh, I feel my toes. Not really painful, but enough to impact my skating. As it comes to comfortable flow skating, the Next Dragon+ is still my favourite. But when it comes to pure performance, the PR80 setup wins.
@@TheRollingRaptor the wizard wheels are great for skateparks and smooth surfaces as they have a higher durometer, they are a little hard for general all purpose skating but obviously last longer.
I'm laying on a bed in physical therapy right now. I can't wait to get back on my skates. These are sick, with my small feet I'm interested in having more control with the 80s.
Lighter. More agile. Less tricky when doing crossovers and crisscross. The PR80 feels like a special version of something familiar, the Advanced is a special version of something already special, if you get my drift. :-)
@@SaccoBelmonte I haven’t got the Rockin’ 580, so can’t compare. :-) The music is from Epidemic Sound (details in the description). I haven’t learned to play an instrument, unfortunately for me, but probably fortunately for your ears. 😉

Als je niet de ambitie hebt om je extreem te gaan bekwamen in wizard skating, maar vooral wilt genieten van die stabiele wendbaarheid, is er geen enkele reden om speciaal meer geld neer te tellen. Another amazing rolling raptor video. So happy you have another official wizard frame. Leon would be proud. ⭐️😎💪
