Another question I forgot to ask where are you located ? What do you charge for a job like this ? Your video sure is a great help now I just have some shopping to do for more tools
Hey man I have a 91 fox and it’s a solid rust free car but someone prior to me board slid the car and the driver side frame under the floor board right by the spot you cut out isn’t bent up pretty bad. I was wondering if they sell those replacement pieces still and what are they called? Thanks for the info if you can help
Great content just like all of Your videos that I have watched ! Noticed that Your seat support brace is cracking are You going to replace it or repair it ? Who makes the flanging tool that You use ? Any information that You can provide will be greatly appreciated . Thank You . 🇺🇲🇵🇷🦊👍
Great video on those corners where the fender lines to the firewall where u mentioned the leads accumulate and rot out. Was it tonight to cut out? **Base of windshield* and firewall/cowel area
No it's not bad just make sure you cut it out big enough to get all the rust on the first attempt then you can save the rails and pieces you cut out to put back in after you repair the rust underneath it. It will go back kind of like a puzzle.
@@bpbrestorations2093 appreciate it have been watching videos non stop. Starting to think I might pull that spotted triangular piece off. by the upper front frame rail by the cowel ,plate it por 15 it and hope for the best. Or pull the windshield out and the upper cowel 😅
How do you finish out your panel on the bottom? Not a body man, not being a smart ass! I've got a couple of cars the need patches on the floors. Enjoy you channel. Thanks

Tipton, Indiana, it's around 5k to do it if we have to remove engine and trans.
How much would a job like that cost someone
Between 4-5k if we get it as a roller
Do you have customers? Do you do any rust work for others? Thx, Tim
Yes, that I what we mainly do. 70% rust/custom 30% collision. We are slammed at the moment.
@@bpbrestorations2093 Ok thx. I have an 88 foxbody that needs rails and strut tower rust repair. How slammed/far out? Thx.
@@TimStetinStockPatternPros few months
@@bpbrestorations2093 Ok Thx, I'm interested in having you do the work. I'll phone your office. Thx, Tim

Not sure exactly what part you are talking about can you send a couple pics to my email. Cbuckner0859@gmail.com
How much would something like that cost? The strut towers
Frame rails, shock towers, floor pans like this you can expect somewhere around $2200-$2800.
BPB Restorations thank you bro
No problem
What gauge did you use on the floor pan?
18 gauge
What the turn around time?
Roughly a month

Astro Pneumatic makes the flange tool. We just weld them seat supports back up usually, unless they are to far gone. Thanks for the support!
Only thing I would have added. Couple of holes in the floor patch for some spot welds to attach the patch to the subframe rail.
Nice job 👍
Thanks
How much you charge for a job like that
2500-3500
Base of the windshield is overlooked way too often. Nice vid man

It's a ton of work, but unfortunately sometimes that has to be done.

Seam sealer, 2k primer, and then undercoating.
