I'm 20 years old and just now I'm capable of showing my personality, when you're 16 it can be really difficult to express yourself if you are shy and you feel pressure with people is watching. She trained as a dancer so I think she should kept doing that, I saw her dancing and she has potential and also seems to enjoy it. But basically if you are shy like Charlie please don't feel bad about yourself, you're gonna learn how to socialize like people want you to do while you are growing! So don't be hard to yourself, everything has it's time! (sorry if I started to sound cheese but I needed to say that)

I don't wanna be a douche but I think her whole vibe was extremely superficial from the start. She was good at her TikTok dances and that had to be the end of it. The very fact that she fails at things like ASMR or properly speaking to her viewers proves that point
she's definitely not cut out for being famous, she's naturally quiet and introverted which makes everything awkward unless she's dancing to a tik tok sound 🧍🏽♀️

so she tends to be more quite or " shy" coming off but the reason I don't think she shy or introverted by nature is because she often hangs out with tongs of people goes to a bunch of parties and when she around people her age she extremely extroverted and outgoing and wouldn't give off a shy impression at all I think in a video she even described herself as a outgoing talkative person so ... for example use the James dixie and chase video

i’m assuming charli wouldn’t want to dance next to maddie bcuz maddie is a better dancer. i’ve seen videos of charli dancing in a studio next to someone i didn’t know and i thought the other person was a better dancer even though charli was the “star” (i’m not saying that out of hate, maddie is a professional dancer and charli is not) charli made the video awkward as is, i’m sure it would have been 1000x worse if they were dancing.

it’s not that she’s introverted, it’s that she’s awkward to watch, boring, and unfunny. i don’t have a problem with that, i’m awkward as hell but i don’t do youtube. if you’re gonna be a youtuber those probably aren’t the best traits to portray in ur videos. it makes them painful to watch and actually angers people because she has all of this fame and influence and it brings into question if she deserves it. especially considering her behaviour (that thing with the personal chef, ignoring pandemic rules, not crediting the creators of dances) and she’s not even an amazing dancer, she has low energy and is boring to watch in that department too.

I’v never related to anything more than this honestly I used to suffer from major social anxiety and anxiety in general. I couldn’t even ask for extra condiments when ordering fries I would be scared shit. I couldn’t order my own food at restaurants and wanted to stay at home on my room and avoid people like the plague. Social situations made me physically sick and I would cry even. In social situations I would be so reserved and almost like I’m the observer. Pulled back from everything stuck in my thoughts thinking everyone is looking at me or judging me or focusing on me. It’s so debilitating because my mind would just not shut up with all the thoughts that would go around it. To the point that I couldn’t even focus on what other people were talking to me about when they spoke to me. My responses would be dumb and stupid because I was to busy in my thoughts and not at all paying attention to a word they were saying. And when people did talk to me I wanted to say as little as possible so it can just end and I would feel hot and sweaty and shaky that they are judging and laughing in the inside or at what I’m saying. I was so paranoid. In doing so I would come across as extremely cold and rude in my responses and just not a fun person to want to talk to or be around. It was so suffocating and I’m so happy that I’m in a better place now. Honestly if not for god, prayer and focusing on the things in life that generally make me happy like reading, exercise, writing, going on adventures even little ones like the book store. Or going on long walks and eating good healthy foods so I can fuel myself from the inside. Drinking a lot of water. I don’t think i would have overcome my anxiety if not for all of these things. Being spiritually, mentally and physically aligned is underrated but it’s so worth it, it’s truly healing.

she’s 16, she is still a child basically there’s nothing wrong with her being who she is, being shy and quiet and not bubbly and loud like most you tubers. She’s still growing and learning and developing, and we should respect and give her time for that.

TH-cam is not for her then simple. Charli's sooo boring and I get that she's shy (me too) but as well as being shy she's really just kind of bland not interesting to watch. Yet she has more subscribers than, for example, Sofie Dossi who has been dong TH-cam for years.

For someone with extreme social anxiety, I can understand how shy Charlie is with new people. We see her behind a camera a few minutes a day, she’s probably quite outgoing at home or when she’s comfortable, just like me
these remind me of those assignments at school where you got partnered with someone you don't know that much and so the whole time you just awkwardly interact with one another
