The entire fight Ulquiorra is talking about despair and how he wan'ts to break all of Ichigo's hope. What he doesn't realize is Ichigo is half hollow so he feeds off despair and becomes more powerful from it. (hollows in general are born from negative emotions, that is actually how they form, when a human soul is consumed by despair.)
just noticed somethin that hints at ichigo being a quincy before the newest chapters. ulq states that what ichigo used to get near him wasn't flash step but sonido and isnt sonido, and i may b wrong, the quincy version of the flash step
Ichigo has an artificially created vasto lorde made of Soul reaper souls using the hogyoku by aizen as he called white. The vizards only have regular adhucjas in them at best
@Anklumos1 No, the armor that Ichigo gets during the Hell Chapter isn't the Fullbring. The Fullbring comes after the fight with Aizen when he loses his Shinigami powers. The armor in the Hell Chapter is basically a culmination of the power of the Guardians of Hell, giving him the Jigoku Armor and the blessing of hells guardians. It's pretty badass.
If you liked Bleach then you will love Yu Yu Hakusho. It is older than bleach so it is not a rip off. Basically the same premise. The main character dies and comes back as a Spirit detective with superhuman powers (at the end it is awesome in its overkill attacks in a good way) and is given "cases" involving apparitions AKA demons were he has to defend his home town and the world from evil doers. Awesome character development etc. Trust me if you have not watched it already and you like bleach.

Kubo decided his original concepts were too much of a pain to follow up as soon as the arrancar arc began. :p
