Thank you so much for sharing your experience. What formal post back program did you apply to. I’m very interested in starting one

Hi Lola ! Thank you for the support! There is a 1 & 2 year track for my program, i chose the two year track. I am taking out loans, many of my classmates are paying out of pocket as well. Thank you and be sure to check out our other videos

@@lifelines2825 are you able to work during your two year program and also, I've read that nurses can be black listed from med schools because of the nursing shortage. Is that something you worry about?

@@lolaadeniyi5599 You need a REALLY flexible job. I work but very little and my peers also work very little. As a new grad it is like impossible to get a nursing position and not be full time, but nursing home and home care nursing would be more likely to take you. With my current position I had connection and got lucky. As I have been going through this journey I have come into contact with a lot of nurses that are in med school, attendings, or residents and they have not mentioned anything like that. I think nursing will be a plus!

My ghana sis, I've recently been accepted as well. And was wondering: did Jefferson link you with other acceptees like via a group-me type platform etc. If not how did you find ppl?

Hi! and congrats on being accepted!! We had a q&a or like orientation before the summer somewhere and some one said lets make a group me and it formed like that. I was on student doctor network (SDN) and some people that knew I was accepted joined on. You can even make one and mention it for others to join. but i believe there

@@lifelines2825 thank you! will definitely try the SDN thing. How did you go about finding housing or a roommate etc?

@@petraramirez-bonna3132 I became a resident assistant so I live alone! Many people chose housing on campus. For finding roomates no one really roomed with anyone from the program. Using the group me would also be helpful to find one

@@lifelines2825hello there! I just saw your post on SDN and that’s how I found your TH-cam account! I love this vlog, thank you for sharing you experience. I just interviewed with TJ yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Would you mind sharing how you became an RA? When should someone apply for that option?😊
