The little cabin in the back is not for crew. The boat is designed for a family and that little cabin is for when their kid/kids don't behave properly, they can be locked down in that cabin for keeping the noise level down at night.
Can't believe how good condition this yacht is in for 17 years old. Apart from the tv in the main saloon this Yacht hasn't aged one bit. Great tour as always.
Had almost exactly this boat, sold it 3 years ago. It was a 2005 but very similar, owned it for 3 and a half years. Absolutely brilliant boat had so much fun on it! And didn’t lose a single penny when sold it.
Hi Nick. For a 2004 46ft it has all thats needed for a family flybridge boat. Tons of power, 3 cabins. A lot of boat for the money. Great walkthrough tour 👌 thanks.
Thank you Nick. Super tour, including all the extra little bits we like to see. This boat seems to include a lot of what much larger boats have, but packaged just a little bit smaller, to fit into this lovely sized boat. It's a lot of quality boat for £200K
Look how flat the planing hull is! After watching Aquaholic for a while, I deemed myself half of an expert of yachts, though I've never been on one since my honeymoon in Australia 10 years ago.
Interesting layout, I’d probably change that third cabin into something else, but that’s just me, a few electronics updates, and you’d be set. She’s in excellent condition for her age, looks like she was well loved. Of course another excellent Aquaholic tour to really show her off. Lovely boat.
Hi Nick, great video as always, thanks. I've had one of these for 9 years and I still love it, great boats, very sociable with enough room for everyone to spread out if preferred, easy riding, comfortable and perfect for a family or holiday with friends. They still look the business, especially (IMHO) with the blue hull. Will be very difficult to replace.
Looks a lovely boat. I really like that era of boat, and I'm not sure if it's because the early 2000s were my "glory days" or if it's just that I have a penchant for burr walnut! Great boat for UK waters and weathers though, very practical for those of us who aren't primarily sunbathing while stern-to berthed!
They have utilized the space in there amazingly. Pretty much a 7 berth in a 46ft boat. Wow. Looks in good condition also for a 16 year old vessel. Great tour 👍
It's a Fairline - that alone says so much. PLUSES - a 16 year old yacht that looks but months out of the factory. MINUSES - it's a yacht with 16 year old electronics and pumps that wear out (water, hydraulic, waste, engine driven, etc.). While it is decently priced, the ancillaries could factor in. But, if the vessel has had regular servicing (beyond just oil changes), then reliability is raised to a positive level. All in all, if my boat budget* ever fell to a mere £200,000, then I would roll the dice on this beauty. Thanks again, Nick... *imaginary
I love these more affordable yachts with plenty of amenities. Love the power choices, a nice boat for a vacation cruising in the Med without breaking the Bank.
Great job as always Nick. I love watching your videos while on lunch at work. Makes my day better day dreaming that I could buy one these boats and float away somewhere
Really nice looking boat. I have been watching the cahnnel for a while now and would love to see some more superyaht tours or other ships around that nature.
Nice Vlog 👍! Not a lot of space on the boat but they made pretty good use of what there is. Would have to change the electronics for some newer stuff and would redo the floor hatch covers to be more flush to the rest of the floor to prevent tripping and catching toes. May not be the first boat I would look for when buying, but not one to be ashamed of owning either.
Now this is a boat I think the Mrs. may go for, 3rd cabin? NOT, it's a wardrobe and shoe store, I have been reliably advised.🤣😂🤣 Again you show us a boat that is well planned and executed. Thank you for the tour. Take care and stay safe. 👍👍👍⛴🛳🏴☠️🛥🚤☠🚢⛵⚓⛄⛄⛄😎
What was that just above the port trim tab? Didn't get a real good look into it, but looked, suspiciously to me, like a stern thruster. Didn't see any control for one at the helm though.
Great video Nick. I love your more down to earth stuff. I know it doesn't get the big views but it definitely gets my vote for things I hope to own one day. Merry Christmas!
Great tour as always and a fantastic amount of boat for the money and very well maintained. The trim tabs are more like elevons in aircraft. A combination of elevators for pitch and ailerons for roll. I wish you, your family and the whole channel a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Very nice boat, I would be very happy with that one. Something I have learnt from watching your tours, and it's an extremely important observation 🤪 is that as builders progress over the years and improve their designs by ploughing more money into the design department and employing better technology into the boats is that, the telly's get bigger 😁👍❤️
Love the curves & wood in this vessel, the curved lockers in the owner's suite look like aircraft lockers- in this case the forward first class cabin of a 747 lol...
Merry Christmas Nick Thanks for the videos. Hope you get the chance to review the new sunseeker 100. It is the only rival to the prinsess X95. Poorer in some areas, but the helm position on the sunseeker is almost a reason to buy it alone. It is the boat version of the McLaren F1 it is awesome. I know most of the boats is supposed to have a skipper, but I would never leave that seat. Again thanks for the videos 👍
Missing a washer/dryer for extended trips but otherwise a perfect sized boat for extended cruising. I really like the "crew" cabin as an extra storage room - it will be hard to run out of space for all the odds and ends you need.
@@kevinj.vandegraaf6430 Thanks Kevin. I'm just overwhelmed by how much more space this boat has than my 40 footer of similar vintage. Mid 40s seems to be the sweet spot for practical long term cruising.
Nice boat for its age, though not a fan of fly bridges. Nice, thorough tour Nick, don't think I saw any "ooh, what's in there" hatches that you missed 😊 and surprised to see a crew cabin!
Still excellent boat and layout for the age. Wouldn't be so sure about those two engines directly under the main saloon with the noise but I suppose if you were underway you are more likely to be out the back or up top. Great review as always!
