In today's video, I shared my experience of driving alone for the first time in snow in Canada. I also related my scary experience of my vehicle spinning out of control on black ice after the first Snowfall of 2023 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Additionally, I showed you what I did to prepare for Winter 2023. Finally, I showed you my beautiful nails that I got done for self-care.

For the Live.....weekends are better for me. With regards to snow preparation all now me no prepared....my 1st winter in Canada so you can imagine how me nervous especially since I have to drive in it and have no experience. It hasn't started snowing yet here in Newfoundland so trying my best to get things ready. Praying🙏

I get that nose burn too but when I say it to my husband, he says he has never felt that😮

Please get full winter tires. It will make a huge difference and im talking from experience. Be safe.

@@KrissTayne In Quebec, winter tires are mandatory before December 1. Blizzak are the best. Nokian are excelent also but very expensive and noisy. Toyo are also excellent but the rate of wear and tear is fast. Quality & price at Canadian Tire, MotoMaster Winter Edge II (their tires are made by goodyear). Stay away of Pirelli and Continental... slowdown before the curve and not in the curve. You have to push a little on the accelerator pedal in the curve to get traction... When the store is close go to a parking store an try it. You will understand the feeling.

I am in Ontario and waiting fearfully for when winter or the snow comes down here. The beginning of November has some minus temperatures so we might get some snow then. So far I have not been able to get any winter boots as yet but I have the gloves, thermal wear a winter coat. Can you share the type of boots and gloves that you have? This will be my first winter here and I am definitely nervous about the experience.
This will be my first winter wearing gloves. I bought the waterproof Hot Paw brand with the socks looking material for extra snug and to keep out snow from Walmart. My winter boot is the half padded half plastic (Water boot material) calf length North Face brand that i bought from Marshalls.
