I have the same concern. The cold season coming like in every year. There will be a lot of kids with sore throat..tonsilitis..temperature...and the list goes on. With all this madness when someone has a bit of a temperature...I wonder what it will happen. My son age 5 had every winter at least 1 2 episodes of sore throat with temp...without covid to be here (if is). So what will happen in this cases?? Just wonder..

This is absolutely untrue. To say children have less risk but teenagers have more risk. Everyone is at risk. Yes, it would be good for all students to go back to school but the PM and all authorities responsible should put the necessary measures in place to mitigate the further spread of the pandemic. There's is a whole community of people to put into consideration when making such decisions. You can't just say is the mortal duty of parents. It's also the moral duty of government to make sure people are 100% safe and not give an untrue theory of children being least likely to be affected.

I’m a teacher and was on the front line, welcoming the children back in June when schools reopened. I know that my school and all of the schools across the country are doing everything they can to make it safer for the children and staff. Please PLEASE don’t keep your children off school for any longer. Many have already missed months of education! It’s so incredibly damaging for them and I worry for them and for the future if they continue to miss such vital education.

We have just been told to stay indoors and isolate for months and now it's all OK. Just one case in your school could infect hundreds of children and parents, and so on, within a week and you think it's safe. I have just watched a news report that shows kids in corridors not wearing masks, in class without masks, in the playground and outside for some lessons not wearing masks and they're standing inches away from each other.. How are things being made safer, please do enlighten me. 2M social distancing except when you go to school, don't see friends except at school, don't visit relatives but go to school.. Please, you make no sense at all..
Lucky wobs more hand washing, more strict cleaning of resources and classrooms, children stay in their bubbles (certainly in primary school) with the same group of children, isolation rooms for individuals with symptoms, frequent temperature checks, one way systems around the school premises to discourage groups of chatting parents etc.

This is absolutely untrue. To say children have less risk but teenagers have more risk. Everyone is at risk. Yes, it would be good for all students to go back to school but the PM and all authorities responsible should put the necessary measures in place to mitigate the further spread of the pandemic. There's is a whole community of people to put into consideration when making such decisions. You can't just say is the mortal duty of parents. It's also the moral duty of government to make sure people are 100% safe and not give an untrue theory of children being least likely to be affected.
