    That was absolutely hilarious hahaha.
    A nice refreshing flow to have Stacey give some commentary! (Even though it went about everything except skating hahaha). Have a good one Bill!

    it's been really great to learn from your videos and thanks for the unique attention to the important details that you give.
    I city skate in Mumbai India , crazy roads and crazier traffick, monsoon season is on , I have some Swiss ceramics from bones im using , do you think the rain will screw them up ? I have some older steel bearings I may use instead for the monsoon season.
    all the best to you, super work you do.....
    I'm on 125mm triskates.

    You know what...I miss these videos. Great background "buzz" while I'm doing work (like putting on a favorite movie just to listen.) Stacey is great; do more of these. And copyright "Gorilla Wheelz," it will be a thing!
    Is any of your music available on SoundCloud or anywhere else... your out-tro is super dope. If not, they need to be?

    this might be random. have you ever used something called liquid bandage spray or spray plaster for your road burns? I recently discovered it and it was the best!

    Softer wheels like the 80A wheels do better on an indoor surface, My indoor setup is with 78A indoor labeda shooter wheels, they are great wheels for indoor. *If you want grip and slide indoor go with 82A.

    No big sport stores have good wheels, unless is inventory from the 90s. Good fun talk,

    I'm really enjoying skating, can't wait to get out and get rolling again, did some fast downhills and practiced my braking techniques last time out. It's been raining tho for almost a week, gotta wait for some dry weather. No malls round here... I gotta drive a while to find some dry stuff to skate on, covered car parks, that kinda thing.. I live in the sticks, pretty rough roads round here, tar and stone chippings, not great. I might get myself some SUV skates some day. I see Powerslide have some nice ones..

    • @BillStoppard
      @BillStoppard  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those roads sound challenging; I would go with a big solid wheel setup on anything harder than dirt or gravel, maybe tri skates 100m+

    • @Johro66
      @Johro66 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      PintoPonyProductions yeah, thanks, you're right, I'm not rolling forest trails. Yet. I'd love a pair of Reign skates, I'll check that out.

    • @Johro66
      @Johro66 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      PintoPonyProductions those roads are a tarmac of sorts, they get topped up now and then with a new layer of tar and lots of small stone chippings, and it is those that kinda present a problem, it's not too bad once it gets more compacted from traffic, but the chippings end up in the middle of the road and along the edges. They get picked up by the wheels now and then and with very little clearance between wheels on my Seba fr1 80 skates (80mm wheels) it can create a sudden braking effect when one gets caught up between wheels. Also the hard surface is rougher than regular tarmac. That not really a problem and I do skate it sometimes but it's hard to get a good stride going between the middle and the edge where most of the loose stuff is, not really wide enough, a bigger wheeled tri skate might enable me to just run over that stuff alright. I'll take a look at what's available. Thanks for the reply by the way!

    Kinda off topic- what daily exercises do you provide for your Jack Russell? I'll be getting one soon and have had dreams of him mushing me on skates....great video btw! Enjoyed the dialogue

      Tons go ball play...trying to score on him or confuse him with a bounce. If you have a safe place, he''ll give you a good pull on skates, be prepared though, they stop very quickly sometimes.

    Question for the group. Just bought the "urban" version of hydrogen wheels online. I originally intended to buy the regular version, but not sure whether to return them? The look skinnier (?), with pointy-ish tips. Any thoughts on how they will skate differently? Thnx

      Petr Svoboda Yeah but it's just something he does. Think of it as a cross under. I do it sometimes. Guess it just feels good allowing one foot to slide behind the other ⛸
