Gain +4 to AC vs. ranged attacks while in the area. Drop Cave Fangs on Entangled/Webbed enemies for kicks and giggles. Don't try walking through Cave Fangs, and be mindful of your melee allies walking into them. Buffed will have 31 AC, +21 to-hit, d8+1 + sneak attack bow damage without any magic gear.
Starting Con is too low IMO, in addition I'm confused why you are using your primary casting stats as both Int and Char. You would get better casting stats and also improve your DCs and gain bonus spells by using a single one. From combing Sorc / Druid or Cleric, better options are double Wis or Char
I love wizards over sorcerers, because of the ability to use all spells. Yes I should have used 1 spell casting stat. But ive actually been playing this character through the campaign and hes still beefy as a back line archer caster
@@Beetlejuice2959 I agree with you on the Con issue, I probably will just dump Str and make someone else carry stuff. The primary reason you go with Wiz over Sorc though is so you can access 9th level spells. With three levels in anything divine going Sorc means you lose that option.
With the fire theme you chose, Emberkin Aasimar and its +2 Int and +2 Chr would be an interesting alternate race pick for this creative character build.
you not only get an attack penalty when you are engaged in meelee yourself, but also when the character you are attacking is engaged in meelee somewhere else. that makes precise shot a must have feat for any ranged character.
i wish I could see you use the spells in the example you give in their application, it's very much a theory and practice situation that I think would make this a so much more viable guide. It's like you have all the pieces but you are choosing not to put them together for some reason. It would/will serve as a monumental benefit to the viewer seeing your ideas put into action.
I'll just say that Use Magic Device is probably wasted skill point use. (Unless there are class specific items that you want this character to use). You're able to cast both divine and arcane spells, so most magical items that you would use won't require a UMD check.
Wouldn't be better to use empyreal sorcerer with defender of the true world for both wis based, or something like this, not requiring 2 diferent ability scores?
This thing is insane. I just thought about a lore-friendly justification for a druid also having arcane spells. I guess there will be a heated discussion about arcane magic being natural or not at the next druid circle meeting. This will lead to a deep ideological split in druid subculture.
Do a Monk-puncher-wizard/sorcerer/magus-blaster. That is my next character after the current Bomber and Chemical weapons expert. My next charachter will be a Monk that is Bruce lee punchy and can cast spells that both boost him and make him a blaster. Hope it works.
You think it's possible to make a good pet class bow & sickle bard/ranger/druid like class for a chaotic good character, maybe dragon disciple for roleplaying purpose. You know the worriless vagabond type of character with the love for life travelling, adventure, dancing and music. Kinda want to make something like that that is possible to work as frontline person and possible romance setup for Nyrissa.
i'm on hard difficulty and i just buff my fighters and shit doesn't last long enough to do anything, and nok nok is op.The only real thing i get to cast is channel as they rip the enemies apart.

Would you have really been satisfied if I made the character build only go to level 15? I am sure that there will be expansions for this game which will push the story into level 20 if not farther down into level 30

I agree that its great and interesting it theorycrafting, its just that it gets strong too late. I only suggest to warn people who want to try this that maybe they want to focus on pure spellcaster so they get tier 9 spells before game ends. Keep up good work.
But yur lvl 30? the game is based on lvl 20 characters maximum heh, oh well. 17 wizard lvls and 13 druid levels.
