You can drill your main breeding colony's bin with 1/8 inch holes for the frass to fall down through. Put that in another bin lines with a heavy duty trash bag and you can just lift up, tie the trash bag and place another on the collecting bin. I have two 5 gallon buckets and one will have 1/2 holes drill to collect all the smaller nymphs out of the adults.
hot damn.. that is ALOT of nymphs. I am getting a starter kit next week.. only 10 femals and 5 males with 400 or 500 nymphs... so will only get 300 or so a month but dang :P
I wouldnt be grabbing and messing with the fras aka roach poop like that but awesome my first colony just started to produce babies.

Depend on the smell, if you find a bad smell getting high you must clean the tub, also it is depend on the size of tub and the number of dubias

i made roach chow and yes water gel. lots of recipies for chow online now

This was just one colony I sold this business on 5 years ago when I moved. I was unable to rebuild the huts where I moved too.
