Very VERY nice song, perfect mix and interesting stereo field. These Boutiques from Roland are the brightest gems for the poor man who can't buy a Muse or PB12. Incredible sound quality, high output preamps, no gain staging, AND... physical control of the digital synth. Physical control of digital synths is soooooooooo rare, with Roland leading the way with JD-800, JP-8000, Gaia, Gaia2 and most the Boutiques.
I owned all the first gen Boutiques. The only one I still have a decade later is the JP-08. It's has a lot of vibe. The ACB tech is way above zencore. Too, bad more of their synths don't have it.
I missed the JU-06 from the first generation. It sold out the quickest. But I later bought a second-hand JU-06A. That, along with the JP-08, is my most used Roland Boutique synth.
I have 2 of each - JP-08 and JU-06A. I’ve never tried the System 8 or Zen Core stuff but it seems those people who tried both say the ACB synths sound more authentic. I bought the JU-06A because I used to have a Juno-106 many years ago but it was stolen
Yes, I made them myself because I only have very limited work space in my small music studio. The desktop synthesizers are much clearer and easier to use when you arrange them vertically, similar to a 19'' rack. And you can stack them as high as you like ;-) Mine are 120 cm high.

Many thanks for your nice comment :-) The Boutiques are really nice sounding small synths. Perfect for my very limited workspace.
Nice sounds and track. I like the tic-toc arpeggio.
Many thanks :-)

@@marklewis4024 Ouch. Imo the JU-06 was nice. A guy offered me a trade on a nice JD-xi so I took it.
Good stuff!
Many thanks :-)
Very nice, like an 80's sci-fi movie soundtrack.
Many thanks :-)
One day I hope to get me some Roland gear as well, I miss those warm sounds. Nice song!
Many thanks :-)
Cool cases. Did you make those?

Don’t go giving us GAS for the JP-08. Got one in my cart on reverb. 😂
Awesome! Many thanks for your nice comment :-)
Nice racks. :-) Thanks for the inspiration.

Many thanks :-)
