Days after Hurricane Helene, I put this compilation of videos I took during my live stream and on the KPX250 to show the devastation it left. There was a plane crash near fort island boat launch, a lot of cleanup in Crystal River and I attempt to get out to the Fort Island pier and beach on the KPX250 Lifan, check out the stuck motorhome in a mud hole on powerlin. I discuss other info about whats happening in Crystal river too like the new Fairfield Mariot hotel going in, it looks HUGE. There goes the neighborhood....

Even on Long Beach Island in New Jersey, that hardly ever floods, all new construction is on stilts.
Do you have any way to measure how high your property is above sea level versus the neighborhood you drove through with all the damage.?
It is on the GIS maps, I am at about 15 ft where I put my house and garage. They are at below 10 ft, the one house that said 10 ft something certified and ended up getting flooded

I'm thinking of getting one of those Honda Xr150L bikes. Would you go with that or a Chinese 250 ? Saving the $2k... or whatever savings. Probably closer to a thousand cheaper for the China bikes.
From what people have said on my other videos, this is a much better buy. The Honda ends up being double by the time everything is added on to price. Plus the XR150L is disappointingly slow
I saw the plane fly over my condo while I cleaned up after Helene before it crashed. One of the motor was making terrible noises.

Damn. That transformer was on gum that blew the insulator off. And knife switch was pulled at beginning of gum
I know there's mirrors that fold down and out of the way for offroading available online.

it wont run all your 220 or your a/c with any other 220 on it. mine would run any 220 but the water heater one at a time. but now i have to 13000/ 10000 and it will run any 2 - 220 at one time and will run the water heater but it dont like it. but i still only use one 220 thing at a time. anyway glad you are ok because it so much worse up north of you.

Yeah I figured I'd have to keep the water heater off with the air conditioner running. I have the identical unit up north that runs my house and if all three are on you're right it does not like it. The water heater will hold heat for a long time And you have to choose between that and the water pump...

😅👍 it's hurricane season here in FL,. CT has hurricanes and also some nasty winter storms. I was without power almost a month up there in freezing cold.
@MotoCheez i remember that.I guess the only thing you really have to worry about are trees on your sheds and power outage.
Depending on the severity of the winds and being more inland.
Probably wouldn't drive around in this one.
