Felicia is such a natural & polished presenter. She’s so effectively bilingual. I love that their house is filled with meaningful items and not just things to show off. I love their open attitude & they radiate kindness & gratitude. Would love it more if Jeffrey had said Felicia is the master of the house at the credit roll.
I think it’s very interesting that they concur he’s the master of the house, although her personality is much bigger and he is more subdued. This means they give and take in a balanced way that she still respects him for.
They are really people who have their feet firmly planted into the ground. Sat behind them in airasia economy seats and both of them were simply having a good time talking and laughing without any worry about people overhearing their conversation.

I think you can roughly tell on CNY shows etc. She always gives a RBF & even look impatient if hosts talk for too long. I’ve seen Hong Ling in person and walked over to say hi. Woman of few words & gives a very close & guarded vibe. She never smiles. Quite scary.

The 放下likely means to put aside grievances with others. Their house is quite well-kept. They have display cases for beautiful mementoes and other built-in cabinets for shoes etc.
It will get better as one aged. Normal for many young people and esp. newly married and in love. We tend to buy lots of souvenirs at every holiday stop and cute stuff . This is a process of life for many people
