This will be a playthrough of the Blitzkrieg campaign, trying to recreate my "No Airforce" strategy from about 20 years ago.

I think the most dangerous job in your army is scouting. I guess that's what happens when you don't have an airforce. Love the videos though.

I think the most dangerous job in his army is to be on Graf Zeppelin carrier without airplanes. When you look at real battle in Leyte Gulf when Japanese lost all carriers due to lack of airplanes, and on top of that they lost super battleship Mushashi (sister of mighty Yamato), then it looks like this No airplane mode is nice hack how decrease difficulty in this game.
Those airplanes are so expensive in PG2 that I've never had so many Tigers, Panthers or artillery in Savannah. Especially Windsor with so many Tigers was insane. I never saw so many Tigers in PG2 before 🙂 However nice to see out of the box thinking. Well done.

My usual setup for Savannah is 4 tanks, 4 cannons, 3 AA guns, 2 recons 1 AT unit 1 or 2 fighters and 1 bomber. Works all the time😉

What is your strategy for creating the screens (both on land and at sea)? Is there a certain spacing needed?

Its been a while since i played this. I assume a certain spacing is needed, i never counted hexes though. Just relied on knowledge of the scenarios and ai behavior.

Pal, the Panther G is far better than king tiger, due are more versatile, and most fuel and ammo

Panther G cannot take as much punishment as a King Tiger. Also it never will deliver the same kinda punch. Sure it can do the job but needs a different tactic.
