Bought this brush cutter about 5 years ago, it is a beast, very well built and will tackle whatever you throw at it.
Did you purchase low flow?
@@MikeDPlxztc yes
@@libertyordeath1287 thanks for responding my machine is a Takeuchi tr12 low flow runs about 23 GPM tops the machine is big 13,000 lb 110 horse but it just doesn't have the high flow option. shopping around for a low flow cutter that actually works
I owned the Industrial (regular flow) and wore out the blades and never had a problem. Sold my equipment and later had to clear a lot, so I rented a skidsteer and a competitor’s brush cutter. Having operated the competition’s cutter, I can say that the X4 is the best. BUT! One thing that you didn’t say, your cutter has a flat bottom between the flywheel and the frame. The competition’s bottom side was not flat and I had to stop running the machine to beat a stuck chunk of wood out from between the flywheel and the unit.
Downtime is very costly and very aggravating.
Looks like an awesome unit
anybody have exp with this and the CID Extreme?...how do they compare?
This machine is designed to be used with all types of wood, that is, soft and hard wood. Do you have dispatch or delivery to Colombia? Thank you very much for you reply
Mr. Costeman - Yes, the X4 Industrial Brush Cutter is designed for all types of vegetation (grass, brush, saplings and larger hard & soft woods). We do ship internationally, but I am not the point person for that. Best to call in 877-378-4642 and get an accurate quote from one of our Product Gurus. Thanks for reaching out!
@@skidpro I have an other question. What technical characteristics should the skid steer have to which this tool is adapted? I am referring to the pressure and flow of the hydraulic line to feed the motor of the cutter blade. Thank you for you reply.
@@MrCosteman In order to run this cutter, you will need a minimum of 15 GPM. With our high flow model, we have tested it up to 60 GPM. Additionally, you should be looking at your operating capacity of your machine. This brush cutter is our largest, coming in at 1600 lbs operating weight. If your machine cannot handle this weight, we have other cutters that run lighter and work as low as 12 gpm hydraulic flow.
Is the high flow a piston motor or direct drive
We have direct drive motors.
Is it grease or oil bath bearings
We run oil bath bearings.
