Strange that you didn't mention that Brereton Díaz became a Chile international because of Football Manager! A Chilean FM player found him in the game and saw his 2nd nationality (which is only in the game because an FM scout found in an interview that he said his mother is Chilean), and then started a "campaign" to get the national team to call him up. A scout/assistant manager from the national team saw it, checked him out, and they decided to call him up!

The burial is a long standing tradition in Bamber Bridge, which is half way between Blackburn and Preston and supporters support each club. Like you said they do a funeral whenever either club is relegated. It’s only between those two clubs.

Burying the coffin is a tradition which happens in Bamber Bridge for both clubs, the town is split between Preston and Blackburn fans and its a great day out. In the run up you see it in the local pubs. The most recent raising for Blackburn was cancelled because of the large turnout expected.

@Vaughn ah brilliant, sounds like my dad too. I always heard about it from him, then I moved very close to Brig so saw it a couple of times.

would love for you to do west ham as the next rebuild as they are in the conference league having finished in European positions for the last 2 seasons but now find themselves struggling in the premier league and are in a relegation battle before the world cup break, love the videos, cant wait for the next rebuild

Would love seeing a rebuild in de eredivisie or the second division of the netherlands. Maybe fc twente from the eredivisie as they were relegated and bounced back and are now pushing for european football. Or maybe ado den haag because they were relegated two years ago and are now 17th in the second division

I would like to suggest a girona rebuild, but with a caviat: since they are part of the city group, you could only sign or loan players from those clubs, and the goal would be an europa league final. I think it would be realistic to some extent
Rovers fan here. I can confirm the coffin burial is real. Happens in a town halfway between Blackburn and Preston called Bamber Bridge. It’s a tradition that I believe started with PNE fans burying a coffin when Rovers were relegated…I think. It’s been a tradition since I was born so over 34 years. Not sure exactly when it started.

I'm on a Millwall save atm, won the league first season with Blackburn level on points with me. 6 points seperated the top 7 teams. Such a hard league to get out of.
Unlucky mate, thought you signed some really good players. Can be so hard to get a run or momentum going with so many big teams in the prem. I get a good couple of results and then get spanked by one of the big 6 and then back to square one again 🤣 I feel the fixture list can play a big part in staying up in the first season in the prem. Love the format and interactions with your Dad. Keep it up
Nugget of knowledge I've played on Prestons ground (Deepdale) and scored with the likes of Beckham scoring on that pitch as well! I do like these lower league ones! Gives patreons a chance to keep a rebuild going and build with the foundations you both leave! Top series

In my 1st season as blackburn i got to the carabao cup final and got champions in championship so i did quite well, currently in my 2nd season i do remember some of my signings so far this season being enis bardhi, jacob ramsey, loan cole palmer, hannibal, otamendi, almada, fred, gelson martins and a few others.
Highlight: Sam Gallagher got 52 goals in his first season.

Since it’s more difficult to sim your saves luke you should use the in game editor and make yourself unsackable

Would love to see a Reading FC rebuild! Good youth facilities and a lot of good youngsters breaking through. Struggled recent years with financial difficulties, so not been the best of fun to watch. Have the likes of Andy Carrol and Shane along currently playing for us. No one on TH-cam ever does anything to do with the mighty Royals, would be good to see something done with them. URRRZZZZ 🔵⚪️

I struggled with Blackburn and QPR always pipped me.
I was Blackburn on an online save with 3 of my friends and Tottenham came in for Diaz for 17m for me! Although I only had something like 35% transfer revenue so hardly saw any of that
Do you feel that having to many players on support duty hindered you slightly. I was always told it best to go all out for a win and to win a game and lose one rather than draw two games as you will drop 4 points instead of 3 ?
I’d love to see a Preston rebuild. They have great history a nice stadium but always fail on the promotion hurdle
I would love to see that you make a greek rebuild and a good team is Iraklis one of the oldest teams with very Little glory history. Now it plays second division. Check it and give it a try

I did a blackburn save. Managed to sell Diaz for 9m in January to Leicester. Not sure why that was impossible on yours.
QPR have offered me 13 mil for him so im currently looking for someone to replace him as I am gonna try get promoted in my first season. Ideally wanting someone to fit into a complete forward role. My issue is, I dont really follow footy anymore, kinda stopped in 2011 so have no idea on players these days 🤣

Do a crewe alexandra rebuild a team that used to be in the championship a very youth based team and don't have too much money. They are now in League Two. You don't really do league two teams as well, and it's a good challenge for you.
