    I think with their nature they parent as best as they can the mothers are protective and loving the fathers are protective so don’t think it’s 100% fair to say lions aren’t good at parenting but good video I love lions and learning about them.

      Hi elephants only digest 40% from what they eat so 60% comes out as it went in. And elephant poo has some medicinal properties. The black tribes believe you can smoke it if you have a headache and they would put it in there huts at night and lit it and the smoke would clear out all the mosquitos.

      @@safariexperiences Thank you for your reply. I have learned many fascinating things about animals by watching safari videos. Lions in particular. I wouldn't want to be licked by a lion for sure in that case.

    Omg, how can we not love & be beguiled by lion cubs. They are nature’s most beautiful gifts. Their existence is a duality of life & death- more so than some other lives in the wild. We call lions the apex predators. But, we are. Humans are the most dangerous & self-serving predators. We are often the reason that other species are subjected to suffering & extinction due to our egregious & barbaric acts. We need to be better humans to give, to safeguard their environment, survival and thriving. Our lives are nothing without theirs.
    Greatly appreciate your video & its content. I do find lions are “great parents” Each male lion is a gladiator. Each lioness is a teflon tie that binds her pride ❤️ 🦁 💝

    It's not true for all lions. Some lions, dad, take good care of their cubs they always around them until they do their territory duty

    Саму Африку опасаюсь, но там живут и обитают животные, мои любимые хищники,.их детки. ......а вот гиен не люблю и обезьян, особенно просто ненавижу их детёнышей они мне неприятны и напоминают крыс

      Hi yeh I agree and although I’m not a pet person I think it would be pretty cool to have a Hyena instead of a dog. Can you imagine walking down the street. You will be so safe especially in Africa. Thx for watching

    How do the male lions know the cubs are not from their bloodline

    • @safariexperiences
      @safariexperiences  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well that’s animal instinct. One the males who have just taken over a pride know that they haven’t mated with the females. And from the first time the new born cubs are introduced to the pride they practice social bonding so they know each other. Now you have to think about the lions life cycle. At 5 years they are in there prime but only live to about 10 so if they don’t kill the cubs what will happen is in say in about 4 years time the cubs will be in their prime but the new males who just killed or chased their dad away will come back to kill the males who just took over the pride. Animals do remember.
