I have been watching a lot of pool on You tube. These 2 commentators are the best by far.

When Jayson smiled at the end, I wonder if he was thinking "This is the dumbest, weirdest match I've ever played, how the hell did I win this?". It's hard to believe he won it given all the 'pool god retribution' going on there....man, that was brutal, his breaks, once getting kicked almost the whole table length, cross corner to a scratch. And some of those safeties Corteza left him were nothing short of spectacular...absurdly nasty stuff to try to deal with, VERY solid safety play from his side. All except for that ridiculously easy one in the corner where he muffed the cue angle slightly, and rolled it right in. Weird how sometimes the simple stupid shots are harder than the really difficult ones. Seems universal, though. Some of his other safties were practically ART work.

Jayson smoked him on the 2020 Bigfoot challenge.
      Beat down.
      11-5
      Race to 11.
      One way traffic.
Foot all up in that ass.
      90 yard field goal.
      KaBOOM.
Lee van did get oast Joshua Filler that year but only because he shit the 9 in 4 out of last 5 games.. like really dude?
Damn how lucky can one guy be.
Josh wouldve beat him by 2 or 3 games if not for all them 9s he lucked in.
Josh should've had a bigger lead than that anyway.
I do not believe either were playing their A Game.
      But..that's pool.
      Ya win some
      Annnnnd ya lose some.
I bet they both average 100k a year or more.
Josh wins half the tournaments he joins.
Jayson wins the other half probably.

Corteza is one the best most underrated players ever. When it comes to rotation 9/10 ball, I would put my money on him against anyone in the world rn

I agree, but he really needs to work on his breaks. He usually loses in an alternate break because his breaks are usually dry.

    • @AccuStats
      @AccuStats  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

We only just started to post matches to our TH-cam channel. With 30 plus years of producing pro pool videos, we have a LOT in our back catalog. We also have over 400 matches on our VIMEO Video On Demand Channel - vimeo.com/ondemand/asvod/ Or, if you are "old school" thousands of matches on DVD at www.Accu-Stats.com

    Has anybody here seen Kelly?
His hair is red and eyes are blue..
    Said to be Irish.
Also where is episode 13 of Earl vs SVB race to 100 for 40k?
Score was 62 50 end of episode 12.
Earl played Jam up for 50 and was leading by 17/18 games at one point.
But the mighty SVB shook back and is coming on strong 💪
    Closing distance at alarming pace.
And just when I'm about to fall off the edge of my seat... I lost it.

I am here in the Philippines and follow pool closely and until this video I had never even heard of Corteza. Not sure how I missed such a good player. Tough tough tough tough loss for Corteza. The only thing you can say is that he choked. You should never miss a shot like that.
He has a poor stroke to begin with. Very short and quick backstroke and super quick and short follow through. Rarely do you see a good player with that type of funky stroke - but it works well for him. I feel for the guy even though this was three years ago. One of the toughest losses I have ever seen.

@@25710 yes, I am surprised also. I am a huge pool fan and play here regularly in the Philippines. For some reason I had not heard of this guy. He is a top notch player and I really enjoy watching him. A slightly odd stroke that gets him in trouble at key points. But a very very good player.
