Brilliant idea, John, whether or not it is orginal to you - we owe you the thanks for featuring this cool solution to foam. As we know it "ain't" just about the flowers. A lot of thought is given into what keeps them "together" in a design. Thank you for this one!
Thank you! I have put it to the test and having the regularity in the structure is so much better than a scrunched chicken wire. So - look out for a couple of designs coming up featuring this mechanic. 😀🙋🏼♂️
I really appreciate your commitment to finding alternatives to foam. You are right, foam may be a smallish thing compared to the amount of junk that is placed in landfills, but you are also right that we should do what we can. I'm proud of the floristry industry too! Thanks John.

It does look kinda complicated to build and shape but very durable and useful over & over many times! Wish the blocks were available for sale! Thanks for the video, John!
Thank you! The first one is the worst, but after that you have the idea of how it goes - and then you can make blocks to fit your regular containers - so they can be the perfect fit 😀
@@FlowerJoos I started 3 weeks ago as newbie in a flower shop and just love the work. But we have an cemetery of unused foam no one like to use anymore. So you can imagine how happy I was to find your videos with this awesome replacements! Whoever had the idea first...thanks!😊

Thank you - you could but it would be hard to remove afterwards . I know moss creates a water source but it’s more just dampness rather than a good source they can soak up. So sitting in a container with a bit of depth to hold the water is. The best. But that would be good for event work - where you can’t add a container 😀🌼
Good idea and thanks for sharing. Definitely will try this. One point though - if you had put a white or lighter background on the table, then it would be easier to see everything. 👀
😍😍😍😍😍 👍🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 very interesting John is another way of making a container. I don't 🤔 understand why you leave a smaller one in the center inside the container. you hurt yourself take care 🏥 😊🐬🌻
If you counted up your squares and started folding from 'the other end' it wouldn't be difficult to do the last one as it wouldn't be pressing against the bottom of the table....
You are an excellent and patient instructor. Kudos to you for giving recognition to the person who originally posted it. Thank you !

Thanks Lynne - I think we are not a bad industry, especially compared to so many other types and products. 🌼🙋🏼♂️

Love both ideas to be creative foamless... This and the wire ball. And the Hydrangea blue arrangement was 🥳😱😍
Thank you 😀🌼🌼🌼

This is a really great idea.... I'm going to share this with my fellow church florists :)
Excellent - the more it gets used the less micro plastics out there - and for church use this is ideal, as it can be used again and again 😀🙋🏼♂️
Thank you, John. Great idea. Looking forward to the designs. 🌻

Needle nose pliers are a godsend when working with the wire, I have found. You can into the narrow spaces and bend the wire as needed.
Yes, I need to get a pair 😀 that’s a good suggestion to share - thank you 😊
I love this! I have made something similar but not as good. I’m really going to make one of these! Thank you for showing us how to make this John. X
Thank you 😊 it’s good to have options - and reuse-able options are best 😀🙋🏼♂️
I love IT!!! Thank You
Thank you 😊
What a great idea!
Thank you 😊
Tks for talented work, just suggest to use a higher bench to work that way you can control the point of view.
@@EmiliaTeresaAzcuiMatos-jy5ye Thank you - And Thats a great suggestion 😊

Such a clever idea, thank you. Could you fill it with moss to add a water source?

Ahh - that’s true! I never thought of that 😬
Thanks - I hope you try it - the first one is harder, but if you make others they are easier 😀🙋🏼♂️
Thank you. Could you use in some floral demonstrations? Much appreciated.
Yes - we have a couple of videos lined up showing this being used 😊🌼
Interesante 🤔 saber para alguna ocasión gracias 🙏🏻 por compartir Bendiciones
obrigada! temos alguns vídeos diferentes alinhados para mostrá-lo em uso - é bom! 🌼
I think you could use a strong ruler for bending the wire too.
