Chris, One reason that I enjoy your videos so much is because I walked the same towns and battlefields thirty years ago. I designed the Tappahannock Townhall around 2014. That project allowed me the time to walk the streets of Tappahannock and read the history on that quaint and historic village. You filled in some information that I was lacking. Thanks for doing what you do. Brings back fantastic memories.
Chris, I live across the river in Warsaw! They took that statue down that sits in the middle of the street right after you shot this video. Less than a month later prince st has had the worst fire it has ever seen! Just about all buildings to the east of the Richie house are gone. Just want to let you and your viewers know. They say the fire started at Martin Sale furniture outlet.
Lived down the road for years never knew how much cool OLD history tappahannock has. Like being older than Williamsburg. Not sure the musiam actual exists iv never seen it open. Hope you do Blandfield just up river Beverly lane.

That was a nice tour. I drive through Tappahannock all the time, but I never knew about the history off the main streets.

There was a fire a couple of years ago so parts of Prince street was destroyed 😢a little past the Richie house on that side mainly

Go East on RT 360, and follow it to the end. It ends in Reedville, VA - which has an amazing Main ST. There’s so many Victorians on that street.
