I don’t think migos was trying to trigger them... I think they were honestly just making a joke out of it and they knew it would be a good way to promote their video (because people LOVE the drama lol)... but in turn, it did end up promoting everyday struggle too. Neither party (the migos or the everyday struggle crew) can afford to get in SERIOUS beef... a little internet drama can sometimes be good publicity, but it can also be damaging if it goes too far. Consequences of SERIOUS beef, such as lawsuits, are things that labels/companies/management really don’t want their talent to be involved with because it makes them harder to get brand deals & endorsements, makes it harder to sell their music, venues don’t want to book them or host them because they are a liability, etc. These labels and companies know how to use the internet drama to their advantage without crossing the line. This applies for both the migos and the everyday struggle crew (Ak, Nadeska and Joe), and we’ve already seen that complex is not willing to take any risks as evidenced by the exit of Joe lol. A music video like that one is just comical enough to say it’s a joke.. it doesn’t go too far. It’s the perfect kind of “internet drama” (the kind that is good promotion but doesn’t go too far).
