Learning to Smelt

I take the time to record some of my hands on learning about how to get that ultra-fine gold and the incidental silver from the Comstock Lode. You can literally find good specimens alongside the road in some spots. Always check land status when out and about around Virginia City.
There are many public access areas to old mines and mine dumps in and around the area and so many remnants of the bonanza days. Please exercise caution and enjoy these public areas responsibly. Hope you like the video!
