this is what I have wanted from Armenia for years. it is fun, it is cultural, it is in native language, it has trumpet-like sound, it makes you want to have party. also, some parts of this song remind me of sounds you might hear in Indian Bollywood films.
You should book a ticket to be here sooner, because on March 24 we are going to celebrate Tsaghkazard and it's going to be lit! Trust me, you don't want to miss that. We
If the performance is anywhere like this this clip, it is going to qualify. It is a song that grabs you if you like the ethnic sound of Armenia. Combined with the energy and the looks? I'm a fan and ( if staged well) will vote for it.
I personally prefer last year entry of Armenia but this is good also and I think it will qualify and I like seeing countries singing in their language good luck Armenia and well done From Malta 🇲🇹
Just want to say: William, you're an amazing spokesperson for Eurovision and you always give good insight analysis of the songs and the singers. Thank you so much for your "service"! ❤
That's nice song, merrily and funny and folk song , beautiful girl and her voice, she's cute very and funny❤ And nice message what's she says)))) 12 balls from Georgia🇬🇪❤🇦🇲
Thank you for your kind words, thank you very much. Yes, now there is a shortage of joy and positivity in the world, but this song is beautiful and gives a feeling of happiness and celebration. Peace to all !!! And as for the stage, I think the huge dancing chickens that will play the trumpet will look great.
Thanks a lot for your reaction William❤ They are real performers, that is why I do not even doubt that they will engage everyone and have a gripping performance 😊I am so excited to see how well this can do 😇🤞
I just wish people reacted as positively to Moldova 2022 back in the day as for this entry. At least Moldova 2022 proved everyone wrong with the actual result. With this entry the same!
Last year my favorite was Spain, Blanca Paloma. This year we have more songs with ethnic colors and this is what I want to see. I will vote for her. I also like Norway, it's so mysterious, Greece and Italy... Armenia's song is so happy, I love the colors, and she is so artistic, I really want to see this on stage. I think this song is much better than the Moldova 2022 song, they have the same ethno vibe but I hope that more people will vote for this, I don't want it to stay in last place like Spain 2023.
I really hope the televote rewards the feminist message. I’m kinda hoping they pull a Konstrakta and have translated lyrics on-screen considering the song is short but sweet lyrically
Everyone who knows me is also aware that I never go to local parties, family gatherings, birthdays, and weddings for the sole purpose of disliking the music. This is exactly the type of music that's played at those events. Guess what? I LOVE IT. I adore that it's fun and VERY ethnic without all those rabiz tashi-tushi stuff I can't stand. I'd say it's folk vibe rather. I love that it's also composed to sound ethnic for other people and it's probably what eliminates the tashi-tushiness that I so oppose. I'm very patriotic and recently started delving into more ethnic sounds, with Sevak's "Yarkhushta" being my most-played song this year. So it really warms my heart that we are entering this year more authentic than mainstream.
Thank u dear , this will be the most cultural performance from Armenia and I think the live performance will be even more fun and joyful ! Greetings from Yerevan ❤️💙🧡
There is a very peculiar thing about how this song is composed. It is meant to deliver for us and also call to the hearts of a huge audience to relate to the vibe to hear their culture in it too. Every country has its ups and downs and knows how to be soulful and how to have fun. This song caters to the fun side. At the same time, it's a huge F.U. statement to the format of the contest which implies to bring all the same or you have no chances. We have tried everything - vocals, dance, staging, storytelling, men, women, groups, duets, rock, pop, anger, divas and shmexiness. NONE of it worked. So we are over the fact that we never have a real shot by trying to fit the mold. "Jako" is US. This is the way we are - funny, happy, and free. This is what we are and we sound in real life and that's how it's going to be from now on. We are over catering to ESC standards.
Love you , you are sooo funny William ❤️❤️❤️ And about Armenia i just LOVE LOVE LOVE this crazy Jacko . We need this kind of song on eurovision, makes me happy Wanna dance and thats why i love eurovision. Im sorry to say this , but this year its many dunka dunka music . In Sweden we say dunka dunka ( club music, electronic music ) and this is not for eurovision . . .
Unacceptable!! William played the Armenian song and was happy and spoke positively and objectively about the song and the Azeris, the Jews and the Georgians were annoyed that how dare William put out the Armenian song, because they don't put out theirs. You never decide and what is he going to do; calm down, your turn will come...
Love this song! And all of this years entries that have either an ethnic sound like greece, portugal, norway italy or even Estonia and song that have an original sound like Nemo, Joost or Bambie. I am just puzzled how can people put Cyprus, Malta, Georgia or Luxemburg (same, same and same) in front of those songs. Ladaniva ❤
As for technicality, well it's in Armenian and Armenian is a pretty difficult language phonetically and grammatically. It's either too posh and meant for classic literature, perfect Bible language or it's something that belongs in the streets. Depends on what you use. There is no real middle ground here. Still, the foreign audience would have problems with trying to lip sync or like the sound had LadaNiva opted for less repetitive and more packed lyrics. I mean, go search other non-ESC songs and try to phonetically grasp them. I love that we are over the diva era too. It wasn't really contributing to the entry. There are also legitimate speculations about the official song being 30 seconds short on purpose. As in the delegation is coming up with some sort of surprise for the performance. There are also expectations of audience interaction during the live performance. We'll see. Let's just say that the picky Armenian that I am, liked the song from the first seconds. Jako also is very beautiful with a vibrant smile and a very positive aura. So there's that. I don't see ANY similarities with the Greece entry other than both are ethnic-oriented. I don't know why they are compared. They are absolutely different and I prefer Cyprus's song to be honest. I'm still not over Helena, Sakis, Sarbel, Kalomira, Giorgios sound of Greece. This country is literally the seasoning of the dish called Eurovision. Good luck to all participants, regardless. Love you all!
Thanks for your reaction to this wonderful & happy song! Keep dancin' to Jaco (short for Jacqueline & Louis the trumpeter, they’re a couple). GO LADANIVA! 💥💃😂
The reason the song is messy and unpolished is because it wasn't meant to be an ESC entry, it was released back in September. Not a single mention how AMPTV screwed up this year and had to come up with something last minute. We need Deban's reaction. William is too nice and diplomatic.
Armenia is one of my favourites this year, Will be voting several times for this in the semi final💘
Greetings to Armenia from Spain
My favorite this year! Original and it makes me curious about Armenian culture. 12 Points from the Netherlands.

I can imagine the pomegranates backdrop on stage. Such a cheerful and happy song.
I love that! 💕
Apricots are the symbol of Armenians, while Pomegranates are Azerbaijan's.
Pomegranates are an Iranian symbol to begin with.
I am going to support 🇦🇲 and visit Armenia in Easter break in two weeks ❤❤❤❤❤😮❤❤❤❤

It won't just qualify, it will be a dark horse. Watch this ending higher than some of the fan favourites.
The music is more Balcono-Turkish than Armenian.
I predict a top 10 in the finals for Armenia this year ❤
