  • This week Mick and Conrad are focused on the one and only 'Texas Rattlesnake' himself, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Mick outlines Austin's entire career parallel to his own from starting in World Class, to WCW, to ECW, and to the WWE. Along the way hear all about Chris Adams, the Dangerous Alliance, Hollywood Blondes, ECW under Heyman, Austin's last match at WrestleMania and if Mick wants to see Austin step in the ring again.

Kane vs. Austin in a first blood match wasn’t a goof. It was a part of the story that Kane’s face was covered up. He even wore a special version of his suit that night with two sleeves instead of the usual single sleeve, so that every part of him was completely protected. This was to stack the deck against Austin even more (remember Kane was an instrument of McMahon at the time).

The fans were PISSED that night when Austin lost the title. Pretty shocking they did that right in the middle of Austin's first title run and arguably the height of his popularity. Still, they made it right the next night when he won the title back.

@@taffysaur Having a story doesn't automatically make something not stupid. If there was ever an angle you didn't like there was probably a story behind it, right? That said, it is highly opinion based so if you liked it then cool but Mick wasn't a fan.

    Moves to be respected-
Tombstone ( kneeling and sitout )
    Piledriver ( every variation )
    Powerbomb
    Burning Hammer
    BrainBuster
    Chokeslam
    Stunner
DDT ( especially butterfly ddt )
    Some suplexes especially
    Rock Bottom/ Uranage
    Flip Piledriver/ Canadian Destroyer
Anything that should kill someone in reality lol. I Piledrivered this kid in a fight once ( I hated fighting but I was the only person who wrestled and I was good so I would kill my friends when I did. THIS KID RAN UP TO TACKLE ME AND WITH HIS MOMENTUM HIT A PERFECT SITOUT PILEDRIVER. I EXPECTED HIM TO GET RIGHT BACK UP BUT HE DIDN'T. I DIDN'T SEE HIM FOR 3 WEEKS. HE DESERVED IT AND WOULD TRY TO SUCKER PUNCH PEOPLE ALL THE TIME. THAT WAS THE LAST TIME HE EVER TRIED TO HIT ME LOL...
    And a few others
Tbh a super kick will never be over like it was and although some can use it as a finish im actually ok with it being treated like a vertical suplex ( everyone uses it... )

Sit out tombstones aren’t legal because you can actually break someone’s neck.

I'm the only one who thinks The Ringmaster isn't THAT shitty off a gimmick name. It's fine. Other guys have overcome MUCH shittier gimmicks that were foist upon them. Not sure why it's seen as a near career killer.

It’s just as bad as “The Wrestlemaster” would be. It’s a terrible name.
