I know we love the Orton match and the Hell in a Cell with Taker and Triple H, but Mind Games is my favorite Mick Foley match ever and always will be. Absolute perfection and an example of how wrestling should be.

The transition into the attitude era to me was BEST time in wrestling.. I miss how organic and natural this time felt. I like this period even more than the actual attitude era.
Interesting half serious/half joking comment Mick made around the 29:00 mark about thinking Vince and Bruce finding ways to sabotage the character even after hiring him. Bruce has made it seem like he was always in Foley’s corner from day one.
Bruce is one of the biggest liars. Him and Bischoff are terrible when it comes to re-writing history to make themselves look better because of how embarrassed they are of their past actions

My non wrestling fans can watch a Foley match above anyone else. They might like Taker, Austin, Rock, Cena etc... or know them more but they prefer watching a Foley match. We live on LI and most of us ran into Mick multiple times so they know him but they were blown away by his HITC, matches with Rock, HHH, Orton even his Japan matches. I remember showing my friends Osprey v Ricochet then Taker v Mankind HITC 98 and they were correct by saying they basically aren't even in the same sport/ sector... They liked both but thought the flips and shot looked fake and with Mick they were shocked he was still alive after. His HITC match is so good a friend asked me to put it on at a 300 person Halloween party andcthe entire party basically huddled and watched the entire match. After the first fall they were hooked, looked in horror for the second fall. By the time Thumb Tacks were introduced they thought he was the toughest man to live... They are UFC fans not wrestling fans so for them to respect Mick so much shows how crazy this MF really is.

The man on this channel such a realness the two of them have great chemistry like listening to friends chat and behind the curtain talk is fantastic!
