I just recently beat Halo 2 laso with my friend as well, and what a harrowing experience. This game does not mess around, even on regular legendary, let alone with all skulls on haha. The sense of satisfaction after beating the last level and seeing the achievement pop up was one of my favorite moments in my own gaming history though!
Congrats on getting through it all 🫡 It definitely felt like satisfaction bordering on pure relief when that achievement finally popped! having to actually kill Tartarus the hard way didn't help with that

Playing Reach and ODST on legendary first and then getting into the main games and finding out the DLCs were alot easier
(I dont think i will ever attempt a LASO unless infinite ammo is included in the "all skulls" but i assume your only having all the bad skulls to make it a nightmare)
I think I prefer my sanity solo legendary reach was enough for me
