Sir I strongly disagree with the last question because, startups are not having a good manegerial structure as compared to the good companies and also startups can fail leading the guy in trouble. According to me the best option is 2nd as the question itself says that the presentation went good and also the guy will surely improve once he got to see the message. according to me the 2nd option makes the utmost sense.
Well you cannot act so much on assumptions, that start up may fail or that it may not have good managerial structure. Right now he does not have another job offer, we only know that he might be fired from the current job. So the safest option is to accept whatever offer he has. You don't have to consider every possibility in the world while solving a question. Just focus on what is given, as he also can't stay unemployed which is clearly stated then why should he waste time in finding a job when he already has an offer!
it would have been better if you would have provided with official xat anwer key with your agreement or disagreement with it. becuase we need to learn the logic of XLRI . That would help in fetching marks. many institute don't agree with XAT answer key but that is of no help.
i've been noticing that you have commented on almost all the channels and mostly they are negative feedbacks! i mean hey! they all provide the content for free, right? and i assure you these free channels actually teach much better than the paid ones. Just a general tip from a stranger - start appreciating things :)

Just learn the logic without being sceptical. In last 2 years my 120+ students have got 97+ in Decision Making Section.
