I cried when this song came in the last episode of skins. At first i didn't like the third generation but with the time, i happened to love them more than a second one, and probably as much if not more as a first one.
Frankie is the character that makes the 3rd generation for me. This playing in the background at the end of the last episode was a perfect choice of song for that scene
Series 6 was easily the most eventful that Skins has ever had. A lot of my favorites changed in this series, but I can say that I really enjoyed Generation 3 as a whole. I'm really excited to see them all back next year!
i'm glad skins brought me here, bc i probably wouldnt have found this amazing woman, this is my favorite skins moment ever bc of this song, i cry like a baby every time
In my opinion this season of skins was the most emotional and artistic one. The storyline, the music, the acting...everything turned out to be so well composed in the end. And finally the characters found themselves. Simply beautiful.
It's so relatable what we go through in life and in the darkness . There is a voice that helps us to see that lifes eternal. Jesus is the way the truth the life .
came straight to this after ending series 6... reading the comments here made me realise that i may be late, but people felt exactly the same what im feeling rn... love, sadness, left alone, hope...
Discovered her by chance, watching random Glastonbury performances on BBC iPlayer. This song stood out: pierced my heart to the core and moved me to tears. Can't stop listening to it since then. Suberb, subtle lyric, beautiful voice, stunningly beautiful woman. This barebones version surpasses the overproduced album version, which is awash in reverb. All she needs is a slightly out-of-tune piano and a mike to transport me to where I love to be. Gorgeous Rae Morris, at the tender age of 57 I've fallen hopelessly in love with you and feel like a teenager again! Je t'adore.
keep on staring to the past And all those feelings we compromised And this time I'll break Down inside Don't go Don't feel like you have to Only if you want to Fill my world with hope again Hope again Sometimes people make the wrong moves Walking in the wrong shoes Make me feel like hope again Hope again We keep on changing mile by mile And all the answers are hard to find And this time we'll go hand from hand I'll shed some sorrow Shed some sin I hate this state we're in And this time I'll break down inside Don't go Don't feel like you have to Only if you want to Fill my world with hope again Hope again Sometimes people make the wrong moves Walking in the wrong shoes Make me feel like hope again Hope again Sunshine slowly, falls from your mind Falls from your mind Hope dies slowly and falls from your mind Falls from your mind Hope dies slowly and falls from your eyes Falls from your eyes Hope dies slowly and falls from your eyes Falls from your eyes Don't go Don't feel like you have to Only if you want to Fill my world with hope again Hope again Sometimes people make the wrong moves Walking in the wrong shoes Make me feel like hope again Hope again.
This is one of the most amazing songs I have ever heard... Not only the song itself, but the singer; her tone, emotion, uniqueness, beauty. No one else could sing this song and have it turn out as perfect as this.
When I was watching the finale of Skins and this song came on, I couldn't help crying. It's such a touching song. I kept replaying it because it's absolutely amazing. there is so much wrong going on in my life, and listening to her songs makes me face them but in a better light. If that makes sense... I lost the love of my life and faltered so much in other aspects. Happens to everyone but it's still hard. Love love love Rae Morris's music
They couldn't have picked a more perfect and emotive song to accompany those scenes in Skins tonight. Beautiful voice, lovely song. Sad to see the end of the series, even though i'm in my 30s, really love the programme, what a bunch of wonderfully talented young actors!!!
Half of the views might be mine! can't stop listening to this music. Of course I will miss this show, but the stuff that it taught me will be taken for the rest of my life. Thank you Skins for being such an wonderful part of my life on these 6 years. And also thank you Rae Morris, with season 6 ending plus this music, the best thing we can take from it is to learn how to live with differences, don't run away from life problems, face them! and always forgive the ones we love...
I love this song. I have only got the last 6 minutes of Skins saved and was close to tears when playing it. And all this from a 23 year old who does mma full-time. Epic.
OMG I KNOW!!!,, she posted it on her fan page, after it was featured on that show... she even said something about working on a song for a show before it was released.. and im so happy everyone now knows about her, and even more special that I knew about her before and not because of the show =D
OMG that was just the most awesome song - I don't really have words for it - it was everything it should be and more in my book, I will listen to it on repeat now.. glad I stumbled upon you Rae Morris... a diamond in the rough... LOL my 8 yr. old has her name on this post, how funny that I don't no how to remove it.. anyways the comment is by Marti... for what it is worth..
I'm about to move, which is sad and promising etc, was in the garden the other day and these words popped into my head almost like they were whispered in my ear, and the piano notes instantly hit....caught me off guard and instantly made me feel emotional. :'( if only they knew. ..maybe im dying
Rich: "..bye."

I cried when this song came in the last episode of skins. At first i didn't like the third generation but with the time, i happened to love them more than a second one, and probably as much if not more as a first one.
I totally get you, I had the same feeling. And I don't understand the people that says 3rd generation sucks, seriously.
Kuba Nowicki I agree didn't think I was gonna like this group but think this was the best!!
Frankie is the character that makes the 3rd generation for me. This playing in the background at the end of the last episode was a perfect choice of song for that scene
Third generation is my fave :(
It suited it suited it so well and when nick and alex were hugging my heart broke
She's a good singer I wish she was more famous, she deserves more views,it's a shame that other artists less talented are the most famous
....How are people like Britney Spears famous when people like Rae Morris exist....... There's no comparison. Rae's artistry is breathtaking.
This song is so wonderful. It made me cry with the final of Skins. Miss it.
Series 6 was easily the most eventful that Skins has ever had. A lot of my favorites changed in this series, but I can say that I really enjoyed Generation 3 as a whole. I'm really excited to see them all back next year!
I cried so much when I heard this song for final of Skins. I'm gonna miss that show for sure.
This song truly made the finale of Skins special! One of the most moving scenes across all three generations, absolutely stunning.
i'm glad skins brought me here, bc i probably wouldnt have found this amazing woman, this is my favorite skins moment ever bc of this song, i cry like a baby every time

I miss Skins, and each time I listen to this music I remember Rich saying'' Bye'', and leave us. Come back.
Rich & Grace
Summer. Night city. Lights of night city. The silence of the night. And this song.
It's so relatable what we go through in life and in the darkness . There is a voice that helps us to see that lifes eternal. Jesus is the way the truth the life .
It was like saying goodbye to your best friends. The one and only time I've ever cried for a show.
I started to cry when Matty walked towards the police station, i knew then it was all over.
This scene made me cry so hard. Beautiful song. Beautiful scene. Beautiful series. We will miss you Gen 3.

This song and Skins are my life !!! 😢😢
And mine....
keep on staring to the past
And all those feelings we compromised
And this time I'll break
Down inside
Don't go
Don't feel like you have to
Only if you want to
Fill my world with hope again
Hope again
Sometimes people make the wrong moves
Walking in the wrong shoes
Make me feel like hope again
Hope again
We keep on changing mile by mile
And all the answers are hard to find
And this time we'll go hand from hand
I'll shed some sorrow
Shed some sin
I hate this state we're in
And this time I'll break down inside
Don't go
Don't feel like you have to
Only if you want to
Fill my world with hope again
Hope again
Sometimes people make the wrong moves
Walking in the wrong shoes
Make me feel like hope again
Hope again
Sunshine slowly, falls from your mind
Falls from your mind
Hope dies slowly and falls from your mind
Falls from your mind
Hope dies slowly and falls from your eyes
Falls from your eyes
Hope dies slowly and falls from your eyes
Falls from your eyes
Don't go
Don't feel like you have to
Only if you want to
Fill my world with hope again
Hope again
Sometimes people make the wrong moves
Walking in the wrong shoes
Make me feel like hope again
Hope again.

I don't listen to this song often, but every time I revisit it every few months, it absolutely destroys me
I just saw the end of SKINS and the last song just makes me mourn for they are many mixed feelings to see. Beautiful song!
I don't care if you dislike Gen 3 - that ending was just so magnificently beautiful.
Skins always has the best soundtracks, i find myself googling lyrics during every episode
Best end of Skins

They all should be together, as it was at the beginning of the season! every time I watch the last episode - I'm crying ...
Beautiful song. Made the ending of skins more emotional and powerful.
''Hope dies slowly and falls from your eyes.''
Such beatiful and sad words!!!
the last episode was TOO short, I need more! Rich's goodbye incredible. BEST series of EVER.

Listening to this song makes me wish that more people could learn with their mistakes...
Weeks later and I'm still not over Grace's death... Her and Rich were my favourites (after Cassie). Can't believe the show writers did that to us 😢
Song, voice, words... how amazing is this woman 😍😩👌🏾✨✨
OMG I CRIED ALL THE 10 TIMES I WATCHED THE FINAL PART OF SKINS' LAST EPISODE... THIS SONG MADE MY HEART CRY
So emotional, so sad , so f##king beautiful.!!!! Felt it with all my heart .
Even though I feel the last generation was a bit weak, this show provided so much entertainment to a whole generation over the years. So "Bye" :)
OMG I KNOW!!!,, she posted it on her fan page, after it was featured on that show... she even said something about working on a song for a show before it was released.. and im so happy everyone now knows about her, and even more special that I knew about her before and not because of the show =D
:'( Goodbye Skins, you will be missed and you are loved
Why does this not have 20 million views????
It's impossible not to think about Grace and Rich while listening this song.
Rae Morris is truly beautiful, this is truly beautiful.
Everything about this song is beautiful: the voice, the instrument, and the lyrics. Most of all the lyrics.
OMG that was just the most awesome song - I don't really have words for it - it was everything it should be and more in my book, I will listen to it on repeat now.. glad I stumbled upon you Rae Morris... a diamond in the rough...
