cool mod tip for anyone who wants to make their stampede unique. Slash control arms fit on the stampede, making it a tad wider and less likely to flip when cornering :)
Think it needs a gradual thin start at the beginning of the ramp. It seems to slammed into the ramp thus slowing down the momentum. But yeah I was surprised on how it handles when I got mine by accident. 👍 I plan on upgrading bearings all around to maintain momentum & reduce friction.
Yeah those are the ramps I’m working with though….it is a pretty abrupt grade….I agree on that….bearings is something I’m seriously considering as well
Glad you’re liking it! My goals to improve upon the weak points….I can already see a few things that could be better……but that is a good way to look at upgrading an rc….”if it ain’t broken don’t fix it” lol
I just got that exact truck, and get prob half an hour on the stock gearing and a 5800 mA lipo battery. I added a wheelie bar and adjusted to the highest setting. Still gets wheelies but more controlled. I would try a less steep ramp or something with a big curve. It’s much more fun in short grass and dirt.
The low voltage happening fast on high grass when running with just rear diff instead of AWD. You managed to get some good passes and ramps in with it tho. 👍🏎️💨🏁

Thanks for the mod tip!
It's good to see some Stampede content , I have had a VXL for 10 years and still run it at over age 60 , so keep it coming
Glad you’re enjoying the content! So far the truck has impressed me!
This thing is a lot more fun that what I thought it would be. I wouldn't even upgrade anything on this little fella. Thanks for the video!
Glad you liked it!

@@RCKnockout bearings were a great upgrade for my bigfoot, I put a vxl in it/bearings/ well and a whole mess of other stuff I love it!
@@MrFourTwentyHighLife nice man!
To say it’s brushed the stampede still jump pretty good!Good content bro!!!🔥🔥🔥
Thanks bro! It does seem to jump well
When you run your stampede through water does the brushed motor make a weird noise
It might change the noise a bit with all the water getting into the motor…it’s not super noticeable though
Castle SW brushless setup would be awesome.
Cool RC and awesome bash session brother
Thanks bro!
1:02 ur shock is placed right idk the word for it but the right shock
Yeah I see what you mean the left shock…..Shock pedestal…..I think I noticed that during the run and fixed it
@@RCKnockout Oh nice👍🙌
is it a good basher
Time will tell…..so far nothings broken on me….so that’s a good start
If you ask me, grass is THE most boring surface to drive any RC car on.
I enjoy these videos! I vote upgrade it as it breaks and love it for what it is.

You should have put the ramps on the edge of the pavement and launched into the grass for a soft landing.
Maybe next time 🤔

Agreed! It definitely is more enjoyable in short grass, dirt, or on pavement
I can say I have a full dirt yard and it does go pretty fast and takes about 20 minutes until the battery gets slow
Yeah the high speed gearing really brings down my run times
First upgrade should be wheels and tires or a wheelie bar
I can see lots of twist with the rear drive only!
What are you referring to?

@@louis2179 thanks bro!
Amazing content from a not to popular creator:)
Appreciate it!
I'd say if it doesn't come with ball-bearings that would be important and then a wheelie bar
That’s true….so far no issue with the brass bushings but I assume there will be less resistance with ball bearings
Idk about this one. Seems to be good for small children.
Yeah it would….it has much better speed on pavement though
Castle SW brushless setup would be awesome.
