We have been wanting to tour The Ark Encounter for years and we finally got the chance! Stephen also got to visit the Buffalo Trace Distillery on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and we had such a great time visiting all the different racehorse parks in the area. We even got to go see KungFu Panda 4 at a local theater. The weekend was such a needed time of rest together away from the busyness of life and we are so grateful!

The way I can tell you guys are one of the best families here on youtube, you let your kid not participate in some activities or vlogs because it was THEIR choice. This is correct parenting.

Prayers for liam he is loved by so many on TH-cam and prayers for my mom she had three strokes while she was sleeping and she is blind in her left eye for the rest of her life and she also has a clogged artery 🙏🙏🙏

Thanks for saying this. My thoughts have gone to him so much lately, outside of looking at these TH-cam videos. It is painful for me. Truth be told, I felt that something was up since a few years ago.

@@SamAndrade They are not giving details. However, I noticed since years ago that he never seemed as integrated into the family as the other children.
Since several of the much older videos, I noticed very subtle signs, like Amanda inadvertently skipping over him when handing food out as the children all came around after she called. Things like that occurred on repeat.
If you pick up on subtle facial expressions, he always smiled and seemed pleasant but was never as happy as the others. When viewers asked why he does not speak as much, they did interviews or forced the issue for him to speak. However, his smiles and input seemed staged.
Viewers noticed that he just stopped appearing in videos, without explanation. In response to questions, they said he is private. However, his absence went on for so long and the questions never stopped that, after a while, they admitted that he no longer lived with them (even though he is still a minor). They spoke of keeping contact with him and of sharing a live video call with him but I have not seen such a video.
So personally, I worry about him.
@@SamAndrade Apart from my other response, I also find it troubling how a lot of people are simply saying 'Oh well, he made the decision.' How many parents allow their minor child to totally leave home just because of cameras? I could have understood if he simply continued keeping a low profile by being the cameraman instead. ... but leaving home?!

Hello again, my favorite TH-cam family!!! I always live seeing your family trips and it's so funny because I had been through Kentucky twice and never heard of these destinations but in my own defense I was just traveling through heading to another southern state.... lol it's so nice to see the kids and get lots of kisses from Lincoln. I liked Reeses' short hair even though we didn't see much of her. I respect her privacy, though. Times have really been a roller coaster for me and I keep trying to breath. You two always remind me to hold on because there are still some decent people left. I sure wish I could reach out to you both because I truly feel you both are amazing people and ozze so much kindness! That's truly a rare thing in today's world, and that has left me feeling very alone at times. Thank you for always making me smile. ❤❤

I was at Ark and the Creation Museum last summer. I can't say enough about it! It was a wonderful spiritual time for me and I want to take my family back there! I'm sure I'll go back as soon as possible!!

I live in Texas and my city has one of the last surviving mr gatties! I grew up going and now I get to take my babies! They absolutely love it and it makes my mama heart so happy!

Catching up on some of your old videos. I just moved right outside of Lexington, after this video went up. My cousin who lives in Lexington is a huge horse person and we got the opprotunity to go see a horse race at Keeland Race Track. So, that was very fun. about 3 weeks into moving into moving here , we went to see the Ark Encounter. I didn't know this the Ark was a thing until moving here. I was blessed to see a replica of Noah's Ark AND just mind blown how huge the Ark is. I had a totally different experience than you guys. I went in May 2024.... Weather was hot, so not cold or snowing LOL... I guess it was the start to there summer season. Meaning there was SO MANY PEOPLE also visiting. Inside the ARK was very stuffy because there were so many people. I also wish we had my time but we didn't .Glad to hear you guys enjoyed it

OMGosh you were about 45 minutes south of where I am in Kentucky. My niece actually is a zoo keeper with the Ark for some of the animals. She helped to raise porcupines and a baby kangaroo. When they were babies, they had to be fed through the night so she provided feedings overnight. She loves working there. I am glad you enjoyed your trip.
You are correct. There is so much you didn't get to do with the weather being so cold. I actually live up north just over the bridge in Kentucky, south of Cincinnati, home of the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds. We also have a huge zoo. Yeah, we are that close. Come back to see us when it's warmer.
