Nice bike! Loved the review. A R1200RS was also on the cards before I bought my Kawasaki Z1000SX. I'd have been very happy with one, I think. Great engine. I've not done nealry as much mileage as you, but I also had the Metzeler Z8 fitted and loved that tyre. I got 10,000 miles off my pair but couldn't get the same as replacement (poor planning, plus wanted to try something new). Video on the Metzeler is on the channel, the replacement will be coming soon 👍
Hi mate, do you still have the low seat please? Can you please check the part number on the sticker on the underside of the seat, it should be 52538534317. Also are the bar risers the up and back type? I'd be interested in both the seat and the risers. Please get in touch with me and hopefully we can arrange something.
Hiya, yes I still have the seat and risers. Risers are the up and back type, with bolts. The seat, doesn't have a sticker on, but does have a number embossed on the base. 5253 8 550 755 Apparently, as its got a custom seat cover, blue and black, it's a different part number. It came off my 2017 BMW R1200r sport. I replaced it with a standard hight seat, with no other parts or modifications required. Could you email me an email address please?
