Thanks for the hack on making fairing removal simpler. I'm in the middle of mounting up race fairings so gave this a try and it works. To provide a bit of additional clarity to anyone considering doing this, here are some notes:
At about 4:00 there's reference to an “8 or 10mm bolt” (it’s actually a screw with an 8mm head) that is part of the connection between the side fairing and the upper (nose) on the right side of the bike. It’s one of three fasteners that connect the nose to the side and upper inner fairings, and it’s the only one that’s hidden.
The video is a bit vague here regarding the other two of these fasteners, which you do need to use (and remove when taking the fairings off the bike).
The upper inner fairings (the banana-shaped pieces at the top of the side fairings) are attached to the nose fairing by a silver Philips-head screw. That fastener is needed* and has to come out during removal. These upper inner pieces are also attached to the side fairing by two tiny black M4 bolts, which can be left in place (the upper inner fairing doesn’t need to be separated from the side fairing).
There’s also an M4 bolt at the top outer corner of the upper nose fairing, just above the outer edge of the headlight. That comes out too.
But that’s all… the lower fairing doesn’t need to be separated from the side fairing. Just take out the bolt holding it to the exhaust and free the coolant vent hose from its clip.
    * When I say that the silver Philips-head screw and M4 bolt at the corner of the upper are "needed" I should qualify that statement. I strongly suspect that they're really there to keep things from rattling and rubbing, not for structural reasons. I doubt that deleting either of these would cause a meaningful issue. I'm going to keep using them because they're easy to get to but I'll be leaving that hidden screw with the 8mm head out.
    Hope this helps someone.

I couldn't get my radiator to give me that much space! Definitely a tight work space!

Thanks again for the video Josh! FYI for anyone wondering, Josh's estimate for install time is pretty accurate. I'm pretty experienced working on bikes but hadn't even taken the fairings off the RS660 yet and it took me about 3-4 hours total install time. For the record, I was actually able to get a 10mm ratchet on all 4 header bolts-experiment with what you have and it should be possible.

How is the exhaust? Thinking of purchasing one myself

@@tredaviousmonroe2089 I like it. It's definitely not as loud as I'd like, as I'm used to SC project exhausts on Aprilias which are borderline obnoxious lol. I'd say the race one is a "polite" volume that sounds louder than stock.

@@jetstream01 Thanks for responding, Which version did you get? Would you say that that the sport plus is good for the street?

How many people have asked where to get the Aprilia A on the fairing? I'll be the next one to ask. Do you have a link, or do you sell the decal for that sick Aprila A with the Italian colors?

Dont think anyone will be racing with this exhaust due to belly pan requirements.
