Wow! Thank you for sharing your first experience with our app. Your work is incredible! 🤩 Hope it’s okay to answer a few questions that came up: - The shifting feature of the color wheel is actually a feature called “Tone Lock”. Not all hues have the same tone/value (perceived brightness). For example, blue is a lot darker than yellow when saturation and brightness are the same. So that feature adjusts saturation and brightness to keep the same tone when adjusting the hue. You can see this effect by turning on the Navigator in the Tools and then turning it Black and White in the Navigator settings (top left gear icon). That way you can view your values in real-time when painting in color. - You can drag up and down on the Size button above the Color button on the toolbar to adjust the brush size. Same with the Opacity button below the Color button. You can also drag up/down or left/right with three fingers to quickly change the size or opacity of the brush. - If you want to completely turn off any mixing in a brush, just make Mix-in and Dilution 0%. If you or anyone else here has questions, we’ll try to help. Thanks again for trying us out! ❤

I've been using your app for the last few months (though havent had the time to fully master it yet....work commitments) but I just wanted to say that it is spoken about quite a lot in this video about the artist not using the pro version and, while that's of course her choice, I'd like to highlight that the pro version, at least for me was £10 or something like that. That is an absolute STEAL for what you get here. I use a Tab S8 Ultra tablet and MAN is it sweet. Literally the only issue I've ever had with this app is a bit of a problem with palm detection and it changing opacity, brush size or even undoing the last action ( which wierdly seems to not be able to "redo" on occasion) but seriously, other than that I am blown away by this app, it has rekindled my love of drawing again after being out of it for a number of years. Not to ramble but I actually convinced a traditional artist to try out the app on her tablet after her being a die-hard traditionalist and fairly anti-tech and she absolutely loves it too :)
Your app is garbage. Basically the best android app full of bugs. - it crashes and freezes every 10 minutes. I have to pause my painting process to restart the app because it crashes - when I try to export layers in folders, I select a specific layer at the bottom of the list and the app automatically brings me to the top and I have to scroll all the way down every time I export a layer - I try to paint on a specific layer and the app draw the line on another fucking layer which is not even selected...it messed my drawing a lot of times and I had to draw all over again that layer - the app exits the canvas on itself and I find myself in the menu several time Fix your fking app
I really wish there were more Infinite Painter tutorials. I've been using it for about a year but as someone trying whose not very skilled, I haven't ventured much outside of the realm of sketching. I'm just now feeling good enough about my sketches that I'm considering coloring them, but I love Infinite Painter. Mostly the simplicity of the open canvas.
And theres a method to sizing it without keeping the brush tab open too, there's supposed to be a dot beneath the eraser and when you slide it up and down that changes the brush size. Same with the smudge and eraser too
You needed more of a physical piece of paper xD Digital tools are more like an extra thing to have Or at least, try drawing in apps with just one layer or two at most
Infinite Painter is a great option especially for Android tablets. The whole time I couldnt afford an iPad i was using IP and buying to unlock the full app was totally worth it for me!
When I had the ipad 9th gen, infinite painter was my go to drawing program next to procreate. They both cost the same but IP felt more natural than procreate
Your art is incredible as always 💖💖 I’m trying to get back to digital art recently. I’m giving it another chance since I did not find it enjoyable as I thought it would be and find it very stressful because I have to keep up with small things in drawing programs. I really appreciate how you go into detail on what you’re doing in your voiceovers and was able to learn more about the digital art process and it inspires me to get back into it. Keep doing what you’re doing!!! 💝
Hii, I see you have some questions about Infinite Painter, I can help clear those up for you! For the color wheel thing, if you click the sun icon that you move around it will stop moving around the color picker thingy. (I found this out from a comment!) For brush size, under the eraser there's a lil circle that it you click it, it will show you the size, angle, blending mode options, but if you click, hold and drag up for down it will change the size of your brush! For brush opacity, under the color selection there's a gray dot with a transparent circle around it, if you click it the opacity, flow, softness options will pop up, but it you do the same thing with the size it will change the opacity of your brush! For a basic round brush like in Procreate, go to sprayers section scroll down and you'll find a Hard Round brush that I believe works very similar, but then again I cant say it does because I don't have Procreate, but from what I've seen they work pretty similar! 😁 The pro version does come with A LOOTT more things and it's pretty cheap! There are also a lot of lil hidden features in Infinite Painter and I think that they don't need pro for them! (I also can't really say anything about things without pro in IP because I bought a verrrryyyy long time ago so I've always had it.) But if you draw a line then hold it will make your line straight or a perfect oval/circle! I'm really happy to see that I'm not the only person that uses Infinite Painter, since I've rarely ever heard people talk about this app. Anyways, hope this helps you!
@@81-sharadapadmambikatelaka59 ive had two when working on very large canvas sizes with tons of layers, but in both i never lost any progress or anything and it worked fine after
The color picker changes because it has something to do with matching the luminosity. To stop it u gotta click the white wheel that u use to pick colors. The wheel that u can change that moves around the circle.
The comments already mentioned the 3 finger gestures. Sliding left and right on the layers can minimize/maximize the layer. Like Illustrator, there's also the pen tool, but it's not as versatile. For the longest I was eyeing an iPad and Procreate. Since my younger neice does art too I would use Procreate on her device. After awhile I realize Procreate wasn't for me because it was too minimalistic. Coming from programs like Photoshop and Krita on PC, I prefer having my layers visible. So definitely choose an art program base on your preferences. I'm enjoying Infinite Painter on the Tap S9+
@@sophk.8600 palm rejection on the iPad is better. On the Tab, I have to wear gloves to not trigger movements. From an artist's perspective, I like having the pen at the back of the tablet the way Samsung does it. We're not doing art all of the time. So when you put it in the back, the pen is safe with the tablet's cover. Choose what is best for your workflow.

That thing u said u thought is a glitch is actually not... If you tap the little sun icon, u can enable the circle thing's movement and also disable it I hope your doubt is clarified...😊😊😊... And one thing moree.. If you get the pro version, you get so many moree features its amazing! And it is cheap too....😁😁 You dont have to keep the window open to adjust your brush size.. you have to hold the brush icon and drag it up or down to change the size The same thing works with the smudge tool and the eraser... Its not a pro feature... 😅 Edit: sorry you dont have to hold and drag the brush icon... Below the brush, smudge, and eraser tool.. you can see the circle thingy if you drag it you can adjust the size of your brush..!(on the side bar) There are still soo many hidden features... So like in procreate, if you drag the colour icon , it helps to fill color right.. The same way you have to drag the color selecting icon to do colour picking! You have to drag it towards the color you want to pick....it is not a problem like in ibis paint where you have to press and hold which you might do accidentally! I hope this was helpful!!😁😁
I think infinite painter's interface is better than procreate. You can customize the location of your tools and about adjusting the brush size or opacity, you can do it 3 ways. First is what you already are doing, via brush settings menu. Second, by dragging the size icon on the left panel up or down depending on the orientation. Third, by three finger drag up or down for brush size, left right for opacity. I'm using Infinite Painter 7.1 btw.
Aw man you didn't use the pro version? You've missed 99% of the stuff not available on procreate! And the color wheel thingy has a sun on it which you can enable/disable that's why it moves
ahh tighnari looks so good! Does Infinite Painter have a way to add outside packs (or can you even make packs of brushes and import them in the app?)? I really want those derp stickers for genshin in ur store btw, so cute
Before I take the plunge into purchasing a Galaxy Tablet s9 and Infinite Painter, can someone tell me if your tools remain with your master file in Infinite Painter? In other words,...if I save a project created in Infinite Painter and return to it 8 months later,....when I open it back up will it retain the exact brushes/color swatches that I used for that specific project? Or will I have to guess which pen and brush I used and the specific brush settings from 8 months prior?
