Insane that Texas Tech currently has 5 guys in this yr's NCAA 60m Top 10 who've all run between 6.47 - 6.58 plus 3 guys in the NCAA 200m Top 11! Crazy to think what their 4x1 Team could run esp after getting DQ'd in last yr's NCAA Final. Their M4x4 is also currently ranked in the NCAA Top 10 & they've also got 3 women ranked in the NCAA 60m Top 6 who've all run between 7.10 - 7.17!
Yeah, this Terrence Jones athlete ran a 10.05 at the championships last year and still didn’t get into the hundred meter final. It shows that the competition is just unreal in division one.
Jones is a phenomenal sprinter! I don't see 6.45 being lowered but I'd be happy to be wrong. Swint had a great second half of the 60 in that final, I think he could potentially lower his time to 6.47. Not sure if Walker can go much quicker but massive props to him, clearly very talented!
Total Running Production bump that NCAA talk.Lets train these dudes now for the next Olympics USA along with Noah Lyles for the men's 4×100 Olympics relay team. How about that?! Let's go!!!
Impressive!! It's called like Knighton, US Trials out for the Worlds and Olympics of this year!!!! The five can compete with the best American sprinters and that would determine their placement nationally and then internationally respectively: We have Bromwell, Coleman, and Lyles as others.. but are they outdoors sprinters would also determine if they execute their best time during the final!!! Coleman and Lyles are the American superstars for the 60m sprinting so we would see regardless of how well they execute from now on!! Thanks for sharing your insight!!!
I saw Marcus Brunson (ASU) run that 6.46 against John Drummond in Flagstaff, Arizona (7,000 feet elevation) during the 1999 indoor season. He briefly held the record because Leonard Mills (BYU) ran 6.45 in Provo, Utah (high altitude) later that day. I thought it was a good way (for Marcus) to start his career at Arizona State.
Great race from great athletes, big things for the conference championships and ultimate the NCAA championships at Boston which I believe the 6.45 collegiate record goes down!!!
TJ will be a serious opponent in couple of years however he need to develop some more. The older he get the more he would be able to maintain his form for the hold season. My personal opinion is the college athletes not going to figure in the Olympic games unless they are sparingly race.
@@mertholomy8414 He's saying the fastest man is the one with the best current time in the 100m. The 60m champ doesn't get the title of fastest man as it is 60m and not 100m.
It looks like all these guys are reaching max speed around 40m. There's a difference when you watch the 100m champs do 60m as they look like they're just about reaching top speed at the finish line.
Still very SLOW!!! Start, middle & END still need drastic improvements!!! INFACT, THIS SHOULD BE DONE FAR LESS THAN 5SECONDS!!! PROVE ME WRONG ON MY CLAIMS BY PUTTING ME ON THE TRACK!!! VIDEO IS COMING!!!
IDK what Texas tech sprinters will do individually but their sprint relay teams should shatter or at minimal contest the NCAA 4×100 and 4×200 meter relays easily is what im predicting, don't believe me just watch! 🫣🧐

Óiiíiß
its amazing how someone of Jones stature can get up and out of the blocks that fast and get to top speed so quick

Texas tech 4x100 gonna be insane
From Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 God bless
Kalen Walker! I know that guy (on TH-cam, not personally)
Walker is a threat for the NCAA TITLE in Boston
That Olympic heat was 🔥🔥 too. 👀
I wonder who was racing in it

Yeah...I have to agree.
Damn! That's a fast track.
High altitude
@@Ghoster311 Thanks! Looked up and the narrator should've mentioned the altitude.
The Big 12 2024 championship was there in Lubbock. Tech won the Big 12 indoor again.
Lubbock has an altitude of about 3200'.
Terrance Jones 242 to da World🇧🇸🇧🇸🇧🇸
Once Terrance figures it out hes going to be a baaaaaaaaaaaad man
I've been saying this. he got Bolt like potential
Raider Power!
Ferdinand Omanyala is from Kenya. On your opening list of fastest runners, you have indicated he is from France
I was skeptical thinking probably he shifted 🤭
It's where the race was held
Kiryu isn't a newcomer he's been in nearly every single global championship since 2013
Yes. It’s impressive to see him still breaking records as I haven’t seen him make a hige record since his first ever Japanese sub 10

Incredible race guys!

I love Track 😊💝👏🏽
Is Kalen Walker corrects his arms (he's crossing his body making his speed shift from side to side) he could beat them
Maybe that what he comfortable with changing that could maybe make him slower
Except that Jones also has arm motion he needs to fix so EVERONE fixing their wasted motions = same result..
It's science guys. It's the small thing. Jones is 6 feet 4 inches. The smaller you are the less chances you have to make errors
Walker dropped a early time of 6.58 in December and that caught my attention.
Walker"s
Track coach is former world class hurdler Joey Woody from Iowa City..he has done a great job with the sprinters at iowa
S/O WELL !! Putting WA ON THE MAP👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💪🏾
Crazy
Wow!
Great race from great athletes, big things for the conference championships and ultimate the NCAA championships at Boston which I believe the 6.45 collegiate record goes down!!!
Jones' legs looks crazy moving at that speed being so tall.
love that the vid was 6.45 long intentional or not pretty funny
So are they a threat to beat the 4x100 ncaa record???
Let's go Texas
That start plus height, why didnt he go like 9.75 last year? Well, maybe this year
High altitude
Kalen will go sub 10 outdoors in 2024, Jones is going sub 9.85.
TJ will be a serious opponent in couple of years however he need to develop some more.

Can you do a video on Alex he’s a 600m runner from Ghana just broke the national record yesterday it was amazing to watch
yooo kalen was gone gonneeeee
FIVE guys under 6.6! Maybe the video should be about coaching track.....
He'll go 6.43 for the NCAA win!
The track in Boston looks like it is super fast and I think it could happen!!!!!
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Usain bolt is 6ft 5in , an he hold both 100m and 200m world records
Can any of these guys catch a football 😅
A fast white guy 😮
There’s a lot of fast white guys
The world's fastest man so far this year is Claude Emmanuel ITOUNGUE BOGOGNIE, who ran 10.13 in the 100m. Please stop saying it's a 60m runner.
?

If you don't have a WR, don't try to impress us.
Ferdinando omanyala is from Kenya, NOT France.

Why would the track commission have a track with barriers like having to slow your speed because of a wall?? Hope stupid! They all could be faster!!!
😳 wow………
You completely forget about Mo katir,i thought he's one of the biggest athletes in the world?
How about this guy Nycoles Harbour 6-6 230 as a sprinter.
Excuse me, I thought I saw...
Terence Jones and all the items would have to beat ackeem blake come the Olympics
First white guy in the top ten 😭
Did I see Ferdinand Omanyala from France or is he from Kenya. This is very wrong
How you never recognized ackeem Blake 6.45 to Noel Lyles 6.44..bias reporting
first
You have the worst clickbait on youtube. Just saying.
But only because i enjoy the content and get annoyed when i don't see it.
Ferdinand Omanyala is Kenyan just saying not from France

Yeah and also that newcomer. Walker might run 6.47 to 6.48. In ncaa indoor finals.
