In the Philippines 🇵🇭 English is our second language, and we incorporate English in our day-to-day conversation, but I wanted to learn how the native speaks so this video has come to be very timely. Hoping for more usual idioms and phrases the natives used in the future streams. More power to your channel 👍🏼
English speaking 360 channel rocks. Of course, it's useful, I really like it and enjoy watching it .I have subscribed since I found it couple of months ago. I hope more and more people love watching this channel.
Hi my teacher what about you ? I studied english four years ago but I began to improve it since I started to watch your youtube videos ❤may God bless you all time ✨
I'm glad you found the quizzes helpful! 🤩 I got the idea from the Pimsleur method. It worked for me when learning Italian so I decided to use it for this video... just to test it out. 🤩👍
Great! Yes, I found this video very interesting and useful, and I liked it a lot. In fact I have written down all the Real English ways of saying with the School English ones next to them to better remember their meaning. Impressive, as always, the graphic work related to the pictures shown. Thank you so much
Glad you enjoyed it! If you want to practice more, you can go to my website Englishspeaking360.com. There are 2 quizzes for this video. I hope it helps. Cheers! 🤩🇨🇦
Hello Josh, it really rocks! At first, it's hard to remember all of them, but I give it a shot! This video is very helpful for English second language like us. I really appreciate what you did for us. Have a great day!
I'm glad you liked the video! I like what you did in your message. Making an effort to reuse what you have studied is the best way to remember. Keep up the good work!
Hello! Thanks for watching my video. Here's the answer to your question. 1. Going: Refers to moving, traveling, or proceeding somewhere. Often used to describe an ongoing action or plan. Example: "I’m going to the store." (I am currently on my way or planning to go.) "How’s it going?" (Asking about progress or well-being.) 2. Get going: Means to start moving, begin an activity, or leave a place. It implies initiating action. Example: "We need to get going if we want to catch the train." (We need to start moving.) "Let’s get going on this project." (Let’s start working on the project.)
Good afternoon, Josh, how are you doing? Well, I have a question for you. The second Sunday of/in March. Which one is correct? Or both? Based on my knowledge, both of them seem right. 🤔
Hello! Both are correct, but "the second Sunday in March" is more commonly used. "In March" emphasizes the time period (the month as a container). "Of March" emphasizes possession or relation (belonging to March). For example: Daylight Saving Time begins on the second Sunday in March. Easter sometimes falls on the second Sunday of March. The difference is subtle, and either would work depending on the context.
@@englishspeaking360Wow, I don't even know about that. Nuanced difference sometimes causes a big problem especially when our tone or intonation is used. Thank you so much.
Really it rocks.Upload more like this 🎉 ....But ,when we are in a very formal or official assembly,if one says ,oh....you are a pain in the butt...., perhaps that will put them in the firing squad.... isn't it ? Your feedback pl. Choice of words depends on the persons present, time, and place....my opinion obviously.
You are 100% right. You must always adapt your language to match the situation you are in. School English is quite useful though because it can be used in most situations. To be honest I use most of the real English expressions when talking with my boss as well. They are not rude or anything like that.
I prefer school English. Some phrases in Real English don't sound nice.On the contrary,. they are slang.I don't like. It pisses me off, I feel like crap. it sucks.
Hello! Let me know if you find this video useful.

It's a work in progress. Keep it up!🤩
I think we, the ESL people should practice only Formal language.

Thanks for your feedback! Everyone has their preferences, and some prefer more formal English while others are fine with slang. 😉
