    Mexican and Georgian food do have some similarities. Using a lot of sauces, cilantro, pickles, corn, beans, peppers and spices. Makes perfect sense that you would like it.

    That type of cheese is called - Sulguni; it`s similar to Mozzarella. There`re two types of Sulguni, an ordinary one and smoked one. It`s one of the most delicious cheeses in Georgia.

      Also I’m dying for visiting more of its country side and the vineyards which we could’t visit ;(, we were limited in time so we had to leave some places out but as you said, we have many reasons for going back ❤️❤️

    Hi, I really enjoyed watching this video! However, I think you might have missed out on some of the best places to eat in Georgia. As a Georgian myself, here are my recommendations: For khinkali: Dapna, Klike, and Zodiako. These places not only serve delicious khinkali but also offer a variety of other dishes at reasonable prices. For everything else: Shavi Lomi, Onore, Leila, Ninia's Bagi, Sesilia, and Puri Guliani (especially for Adjarian khachapuri). I hope you get the chance to try out these spots! They truly showcase the amazing flavors of Georgian cuisine. Thank me later :)

  • @richardmathieu5565
    @richardmathieu5565 ปีที่แล้ว

    1st you got the name of your favorite restaurant wrong. It is NOT Mafhsalia. It is Mapshalia. 2nd they do not have nor have they ever had BBQQ chi ken with potatoes. But you were absolutely correct it is a awesome restaurant. My wife and I have gone there many times because of your video. Keep up the good work just get your facts correct next time.

    • @BeryIstanbulTips
      @BeryIstanbulTips  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well, I clearly see on the restaurant’s name is written as MAFSHALIA, and you can even see it on the window quite big (min 3:42) 😀 unless you refer to the pronunciation which excuse me if I didn’t get it correctly (we all make mistakes and didn’t know that was something real serious).
      Anyways, you found the restaurant, didn’t you? That’s what counts 😉
