I don't remember the exact story, but I think it was a failing hobby shop. The owner brought in these cats and they started going nuts for the trains. I think he's now converted it to a Cafe of sorts because so many people love to come and watch the cats have fun!
I just saw a story about it so I came back here to watch the videos again! It was a struggling cafe with the model train as their theme (that’s why the name of the channel is “Diorama Cafe”). They were close to going out of business when the owner found a kitten outside and started taking care of it. Then the mother showed up, so he started feeding her too. Then she brought all the rest of her kittens, and the owner took them in even though money was tight. The cats started playing with the trains, the cafe got a big boost from all the people who wanted to watch, and the cats saved the business. Out of gratitude, the owner now runs a cat shelter/rescue above the cafe ❤
They will blame these tragedies on the cats, but don't be fooled. It was the companies that laid the railways with zero regard for the local kaijus or the rest of the ecosystem. There's gonna be someone who takes this seriously I swear
You forgot to mention the conductors they hire who purposely stop near the kaijus, go back and forth in front of them, or just drive right into them just to annoy them, which ends up making them knock the train over.

But imagine something that is 50x bigger than you that has evolved to kill YOU. Completely silent, you won't see it until it's already seen you. Day or night it doesn't matter, it can hear and smell you even when you think you're safe. In every 2nd house there's one of these super predators. If you're lucky and it's not hungry, it'll just rough you up and you miiight get a chance to escape. But if its hungry, the only thing of you that will remain is your head. And sometimes not even that.
This is why I dont ride the train. Too many giant cats around making trouble.
