- Amazing birding and wildlife encounter at Lake Kariba including the mighty African fish eagle. Driving with the pontoon through the narrow channels full of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and a huge variety of different species of birds. The pontoon is the perfect way to explore the shallow channles along the border of Lake Kariba. Once we reached the end of the channels we changed over to the Land Rover and continued our safari on land with a wonderful game drive. Later we used the speedboat to explore the islands located further out in the lake full of wildlife and birds.
Welcome to our birding and wildlife safari to Lake Kariba in August 2021. We stayed three nights at the wonderful Musango Island Safari Camp. We would like to thank the Steve, Wendy and Graham for this unforgettable safari experience.

I could spend days here. Fish Eagles, White fronted Bee Eaters, Sacred Ibis, Wattled Lapwings, Darters, King Fishers, SunBirds and all. Amazing camera work. Thank you for taking us with you through the lens

@@SandraMarkusTrachsel so, all stabilisation added in post, and most of videos in Manual (locked after Auto) focus?
Video setting is P (or as I like to call it "P stands for Professional) and in most cases continous autofocus, because animals and the boat were constantly moving. There is the build-in stabilization of the camera body and of the lenses, then we try to hold it as steady as possible, and the rest is done in post. With best regards, Markus

Your videos are amazing. The clarity and timing is perfect. It gives the viewer the feeling of being there....except for the music. Would it be better to not have the music and just leave the natural sound on, or fade the music in and out and put in sound bites of the birds singing?
