What’s the movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon about?
Optimus Prime, the Autobots and Sam Witwicky (Shia Labeouf) are back in the third movie of the famous franchise from director Michael Bay : Transformers.
Two years after the Egypt incident, the Autobots and their human allies discover a piece of Cybertronian technology which is part of an Autobot spacecraft that crashed on the moon. After bringing back the body of Sentinel Prime and reviving it, they learn that with this new discovery come new threats for the Earth and humankind.
They will have to start once more a war with the Decepticons to prevent them from trying to enslave humanity and bring all Cybertron on Earth.

This just shows that humanity is the most adaptive and deadliest race out there. If we aren’t all fighting a common enemy, we are always fighting each other. It’s how the human race is. And my God is it amazing to see humans kick some alien robot ass

Barricade was literally on a short fuse when dealing with some of the Protoforms (0:46 - 0:50). He didn't want any mistakes with Earth becoming New Cybertron, which made him a higher class fighter, as he's still part of the original Decepticon group and the only one that hasn't been killed yet.
Then you have shockwave standing on the side casually. 🤣

Barricade is actually pointing blame on the others for not helping Starscream and Soundwave. The duo along with Shockwave are Megatron's powerful lieutenants.
This is my favorite movie and honestly one of the best, it's so underrated no one can tell me otherwise.

Michael bay really knows how to set a battlefield scene. Really makes you feel the chaos of warfare.
Micheal bay just needs to make a big budget war movie at this point. This is what he does best
Imagine Ironhide, Jazz, Jetfire, Air Raid, Arcee, Elita-1, Chromia, Skids, Mudflap, Jolt and Que all being in this final fight. As well as Long Arm, Warpath, Hot Rod, Hound, Crosshairs, the Dinobots, the Knights, Drift, Daytrader, Cogman
the decepticons would have had their asses KICKED back to cybertron.
At 2:43, Ratchet said "Mortar that bridge" but at 2:50 he is behind Sam and Carly in his alt mode lol!

If you mean scifi action, the trilogy was pretty good at that (it should've remained a trilogy). Overall action movie though, there are a lot of better ones that beat it. Cause action has sub-genres so to say outright action is debatable, scifi action on the other hand for the Transformers movies (original 3) they do have some pretty good action moments

The one thing I will say that I really like about these movies is that they actually speak Cybertronian. I'd say the first movie is best for it but its just nice to hear to really enforce the idea that they're aliens. I also have a soft spot for aliens that actually speak their language. Just kinda wish they did more for the decepticons since there isn't anything else to them aside from being the standard evil aliens.

The human soldiers have REALLY come a long way since the first movie. At first, they had to wait until the Autobots arrived before they stood a chance. But look at this; they managed to take down 6 Decepticons BEFORE the Autobots showed up. Humans FTW!
I know controversial opinion, but this is my favorite Transformers Movie
Unfortunately for the decepticons being big and fighting small and agile humans is a pain in the ass especially when they can also coordinate, spread out and shoot back just as hard if not harder

Remember when Sentinel called transformers gods, and then the decepticons get owned like this lol. I like how Dino in this situation has no chance to get kills cuz he's only a melee champ and there's no chance of sneaking around cuz they have to cross a bridge rendering him practically useless and on defense until a stupid decepticon would decide to cross to potential push them
Dino canonically according to the DOTM game has a cloak along with a sniper rifle and an SMG for a secondary

In the first Transformers movies, small arms were considered ineffective against the decepticons.
Yet as the series progressed, the decepticons became susceptible to almost everything?
it supposed the be sabot rounds or special armor rounds, in the first movie that found out that transformer armor can be penetrated with sabot. that is why they had grenade launchers in the first movie because they were sabot rounds or something similair.
so a direct it from a Abrams tanks with sabot loaded is supposed to a lot of damage

I can't believe that Shockwave was defeated by a parachute.
The focus on action is fantastic, but the battle could do with more explicit narrative imo.
Maybe a quick rundown before jumping that the decepticons have formed a defensive line in front of the pillars building. They can't get through, until optimus obviously

So the humans went from failing to kill one mini con with tons of rifle rounds, two A-10s going brrrrt and an AC130 going boom boom, to killing like 5 cons with rifle rounds and tiny bombs

Lo que pasa que en ese entonces no conocía sus debilidades, la forma más fáciles de matar a cibertroniano es destruyendo su cabeza o chipas. Mientras destruyan sus chipas o cerebro no morirán.
In the first movie they were shooting everything they had into the decepticons which worked to a degree but they could still take a hit. In the second they still use the brute force tactics but it’s more focused like they focus fire on a single one and then by the third one they’ve found weaknesses like the eyes, shins and behind the neck. It just shows how efficient and how they’ve adapted to fighting a foe humans have never encountered and by the 4th movie they can take out any transformer within a few minutes with just a few vehicles and soldiers because they’ve gotten down all the weak spots. And i assume they use a lot of ap rounds in their weapons on top of that. All their gear by 3 is specifically designed to fight decepticons
