I read Verity front to back in 6 hours. It’s super dark but I loved it and you in for a emotional ride. I was angry, scared and excited all the the same time 😂
I'm proud of myself for casting on a new pair of socks for my son. After taking a break from knitting and realizing Fall soon approaches. I'm close to finishing my first pair of socks for the year. The yarn I'm using is Lazer Sheep Yarns in the color Space Sheep. I'm using Lang Yarns Jawoll Super wash yarn for the heel and toe. Absolutely in love with the color combination. Planning on knitting up a second pair of socks to go with this current pair in the making.
The dress looks fantastic, Natalie! Nice work! After you finish the prequel series by Julia Quinn, she has a series about the Smythe-Smith girls that is really good, too (that takes place after Bridgerton).
I’m feeling the same way this morning. 2 weeks into school and my 7 year old is already home sick. Trying to keep a 4 year old away from her is difficult so yeah I’m feeling a little anxious and stressed. I decided to have some quiet time and sit down, watch your podcast and knit while my sick girl sleeps and my other girl watches Pocahontas.
Welcome back Natalie. Your dress looks amazing!!! Enjoyed your Alpenglow swatch, thank for the feedback on swatching. Hopefully I will see you at Rhinebeck wearing your gorgeous dress.
As someone going through a slow morning, feeling a bit of anxiety as well, this podcast was perfect to listen to! Thank you so much Natalie! I missed your podcasts to start my morning (:
The dress looks amazing on you Natalie! It fits beautifully and you have made it so quickly and expertly! I have been really interested to hear about your stash bust in 2022. I’ve been doing a similar system and I’m doing OK too!
I started my day with exhaustion and anxiety so your podcast was amazing and helpful! I hope you are feeling better. Your dress came out amazing! I can’t wait to see you wear it out! I can picture it with a jean jacket. Maybe at Rhinebeck?!
Love your Alpenglow colors! I'm also doing one with some purple vibes (just cast on yesterday) so I'm excited to see yours come together as well! I agree with you that picking the colors was the most stressful part for this project. I waffled a lot and still am not 100 percent sure about mine (partly just because I don't have much purple in my wardrobe so it's out of my comfort zone) but I really think it will be really pretty.
I really like it with the elk antler! Reminds me of purple mountains for whatever reason and I didn’t expect that. I’ve wanted to try suri for a bit and your review is very encouraging
You look great in the dress! You must definitely get some dresses in your wardrope 😀Well done for getting it done so quick! Thanks for another great podcast
I love how you Frankensteined 2 sizes together and explained it!!! It’s awesome that as knitters we can do that and it inspires me to try something similar in future!!! Love the dress! I now want one!!!
I was hoping to start diving into the PFS Class. I have the yarn, I have the handouts printed, I have the supplies gathered including the cardboard. My 4 1/2 year old dog Raven kept me awake tooooo much last night so I’m tired and having a hard time focusing. At least I know I’m ending my night with Kay (Crazy Sock Lady) and the in person knitting group. Your dress is gorgeous. It looks great on you. Hope the rest of your week is good.
Hi Stephanie! Sometimes the designers sell on their personal websites or on Etsy, so you could try doing a Google search to look up the designers and see, and if not you could always reach out to the designer directly to see what options are available!
Can we please falsify things the granny strip blanketvwas not invented by attic 24 but by Weldon practical needlework in 1891 many granny have been made using this template sorry to moan but let's not forget these tadiins are old old old and we should acknowledge this to glorify the craft instead of belittling it.
I don’t think anyone is trying to “belittle” the craft. Attic 24 used the granny STITCH to create a pattern for a blanket. By mentioning the pattern and who created it, we have a resource to use in order to get the same effect. People are allowed to use stitches created in whatever year, however they choose to do so. A stitch is simply that, a stitch. It is not a pattern that was stolen and claimed as someone else’s.

Me too!! My emotions were all over the place and I zipped through it so fast!
Your long summer cardigan would look great with your dress!
Natalie, I know that you normally prefere pink, but this beige fluff looks awesome! Love the swatch! This is going to be a beautiful sweater ☺️

I love your Sea Side Dress. I can’t wait to make it!
I really want to make a musselburg hat with 2 large scraps, switching yarns halfway through so that the inside and outside are different.

In Scotland we call it Musselburra, like Edinburgh is Edinburra

The dress is absolutely amazing!!!! It is so pretty.
May I ask what scale you have? That’s a great little portable scale.
Que divino cuanto tejistes hermoso vestido 👗 y los calcetines excelente felicitaciones desde Uruguay🥰 🇺🇾 🇺🇾🇺🇾
Your dress came out beautifully, since you like Colleen Hoover books you should read ‘This ends with us.
Will you put the dress on for a pod cast an show us it’s gorgeous 😊
I binged Claim to Fame on Hulu.
How does the dress handle sitting and bending? Do you find that it gets baggy? Or does the negative ease take care of that?
What scale do you use? Is it on Amazon?
The correct pronunciation is definitely ‘Musselbura or burer’ Edinburgh is mispronounced in America in the same way. It is Edinbura or Edinburer.
I don't have a Ravelry account and don't want one. Is there anywhere else I can get the patterns?
