If only you used 1,000,000 toothpicks and took 10 years I would have been impressed.
That 4.5 ft2 house would go for about $2 million where I live.
IWhere did you buy those clippers you're using? I have a similar pair of clippers but they are used to cut plastic schluter strips for tile work
Oh f__k.
@@checkfactscheckingahh yes.. Estes Park Colorado.. beautiful place!
I'm a Carpenter, I've built many Mansions, metal, log, and stick framed. I would hire this young man in a minute. His attention to detail, and patience puts him on the road to be a Craftsman.
Are you sure? It took him 2 years to just frame out 1 house. Jk
"On the road to becoming" ?
Are you saying that he's not a craftsman?
Because from what I can see dude is both a man & very crafty.
The only thing this gentleman is "on the road to becoming" is being recognized for his talent, hard work & commitment. This guy is going places.
Econ ed teacher: your resume needs to stand out. This kids resume:
@@brandybender4763the difference between being "a craftsman" and being "a crafty man," is that one is a professional and one is a hobbyist.
Kid's not a professional ... yet. 👍
And I believe "on the road to becoming" and "going places" are the same, are they not?
@@brandybender4763 He's on his way to be a Craftsman, but true Craftsman can build just about anything in a timely manner.
My grandfather would do this! Build beautiful intricate homes out of popsicle sticks. This brought me so much nostalgia!!!
This miniature is better built than many actual McMansions. Pure timber and no plastics, no drywalls, no plywood.
You get more out of doing things like this than playing minecraft and its a keeper.
I still have one that my grandfather made close to 30 some odd years ago. The front opens up, so now my daughter has it as a doll house
I learned to do this in High School and College when I was studying to become an Architectural Technician. Later in life I was hired by the Government to work on drawings of all the buildings at my site. Several times I was asked to produce Presentation models for certain projects. This is an art that should be carried on in life for people who like this. Take care and stay safe.
Mate, I'm completely blown away. As a model builder myself, I'm just speechless. WOW!!!
Yeah I'm furious that he didn't paint it
I am a electrician and this is the coolest video I have ever seen. I have seen a lot of house go up in the last 20 years and all your headers and supports are perfect. Love the video keep it up you got a lot of talent.
His patience and ingenuity are truly admirable! This is a wonderful example of how passion and creativity can create wonders. This tiny yet incredibly detailed house is definitely a unique work of art.
Great comment!
Hopefully he is getting the revenue from the views.
It’s prison art, just like all the matchstick miniatures.
@@mr.e0311shut up, you don’t care, you’re just an ass
What is that? A mansion for ants!! It needs to be at least three times as big.
I am/was a professional architectural model builder. Then cad took over. It's amazing to see hands being used for more than scrolling. This kid is a future engineer.
Hilarious how he also happened to use CAD to design this build ahead of time. It's amazing to see hands being used not only for just placing wood, but for making innovative, beautiful designs using the latest tech! This kid truly is a future engineer.
Brah, now you can tell AI " wanna" small mansion, connect with a 3D printer and have that thing in 20 minutes
I don't know why you assume he is a "kid" with his future ahead and still growing up. I've seen his face and his hands, and would judge he's somewhere in his 20s or 30s. You can judge a person's relative age from their hands - the more elastic the skin, the younger; the more wrinkles in the area bellow the thumb, and between the thumb & index, the older they are - older skin is less elastic because it has/produces less collagen as you get older, so those areas become less taut.
Faces are not certain indicators, because some people spend better care on their skin, spend less time under UV rays/use sunscreen, use makeup, and some people also naturally look younger, but hands generally don't lie.
@@MikeBarbarossa It's sad that all you're focusing on is how fast he does it. He didn't make it out of Popsicle sticks to be fast, he made it because it takes more skill and dedication - minute-men and those with low attention spans need not apply.

Do you want to watch his work for 2 year? Coz the maker also skipping those 2 year into half a hour..😅
@zeroky0 Front runner for clever comment of the new year 🤣
No ladders or scissor lifts required.
A world full of patience and craftsmanship would make us all proud.
Well done!
I think he has a tremendous future as an architect. His scale and attention to detail is AMAZING and I, for one, think this is an incredible gift, even if only as a hobby. Someone with money will probably buy this and build the house to match. I know I would if i had that kind of money. Great job young man!!! 👍👏👏👏
Diner de con !
I was GOING to tell you that he's probably already an architect with a lot of experience under his belt but ... NOPE ... looked into him and he's just a young hobbyist, like you said.
And like you also said, there's no doubt this "hobby" will take him places. I'd be surprised if architecture museums don't seek him out now that his videos are going viral.
The attention to detail is horrible. This is an EXTREMELY crude model.
@@401Impala yep ,what a way to encourage youth of today.maybe show this kid the right way to do it....waiting for video
I think he is wasting his time.
I was going to say.. 2 years, bro!? But then I couldn't look away😂 You MURDERED that house! KILLED it!! Absolutely amazing attention to detail. 90% of people can't even fathom what that takes. Waist of time?.. Don't know what THAT dog is barking at😂 I've almost done nothing but building outside my whole life. Bravo brother! Very therapeutic to watch
And I'm sure you're one of the 10%, right? Also, waste.
@terminat1 yeah well us "10%"ers I can tell you with certainty that we are better in every shape & form. Why? I'm glad you asked.. The whole idea is an act of faith and diligence, the building it's gorgeous!!! Are you planning to make it more realistic, for example by painting it and including the villa in a diorama?
This project takes a level of self-discipline and patience that few can duplicate, and are essential components in showcasing the overall finished craftsmanship...to be nothing less then phenomenal. A while back I saw a immersive virtual reality tour someone posted on FB, of the Notre-Dame Cathedrale that almost burnt down. It was very realistic. If there was a way for this model home to make an immersive virtual reality tour of the inside like an actual walk-thru tour...that would be amazing to see! I bet you could not differentiate it between a normal sized home or a scale model, either way it would be fascinating to see and deserving in showcasing this overall talented craftsmanship.
I'm a little over 18 minutes into this and yes, will watch to the end. This kind of stuff simply amazes me!! As a layman, just truly enjoy seeing this and wish I had a similar ability. As such, I sure would prefer to watch these things at a slower video speed even if it meant several videos in parts. For me, the interest is being able to pause and review how a particular aspect was done. Outstanding what you have done!!!!
If you go to his channel (it’s in the description) he has longer videos of his process!
Great to see a young fella using his brain AND his hands! Also a ton of patient application here. Watching him start on what looks like the garage floor, I had the horrible thought of him rushing home late on a stormy night and backing over the model. Looks like that didn't happen.
We've just done this on a 1:1 scale with a 3 year reno/rebuild of our house. Until you do it yourself, it's hard to imagine the complexity and layers of skills that go into making a house. At scale, our mate has learned much and will go places, of that I'm sure! Cheers from Sydney - Dave
That belongs into a museum. I hope it stays safe for a very very long long time.
It belongs in a coat of paint. WHY do all that then not paint it??
For builders at heart...
Beautiful, artistic and satisfying!!!
The funniest thing about every time someone makes something from popsicles sticks is the reporters thinking they actually bought thousands of popsicles and saved the sticks from them
.... while displaying the boxes the popsicles come in.... clean, from the supplier....

Well, they are tiny boards of wood, so… it‘s an amazing build but it’s not like popsicle sticks are such an unlikely building material for a model house.
