As a DV survivor myself I wanted to say a huge thank you for helping 'Mariah' Also I'm 58 years old and just successfully folded my queen size fitter sheet! I will think of you every time I do this now. Thank you Bonnie ❤
same here. never have been a great housekeeper. im trying to do better after catching midwest magic cleaning, this gal, and a couple others. im old now and we have the $$$ to hire someone. the problem is we live so far out in the country no one wants to come out here. at $15.00 an hour youd think it wouldnt be this hard.
I’ve solved the problem of folding fitted sheets. You have one set of sheets, you take it off the bed, wash it, dry it, put it back on the bed, problem solved.
@@LynsAlteredArts I used to do this all the time, but then I had little kids that would occassional "wet" our bed when they snuck in during the middle of the night. 🤦♀ Luckily they are older now and it's not a problem anymore. Whew! 😂
You're such an inspiration. I wanted to tell you that my 11 yo daughter heard your video I was listening to recently and she commented that you sound so much more confident than your beginning videos. We're both so proud of you!
That is awesome! Thank you for mentioning that. That really makes me feel good to know that even in 11 year old can hear the difference. I think I will always have a little bit of awkwardness about me, but better is better. I don't need to be the most amazing public speaker. Any Improvement is just fine with me. Thanks, Bonnie!
So nice to see people not being judgemental. My adult son died 4 yrs ago. I had a break lost my job and have been in therepy for 2 yrs. I had my sons entire apt and all of his things in my house. I couldnt touch anything without having major panic attacks. I just started being able to go through things. Its so hard. All I have been able to do is kitchen bathroom and survive. I get how these things can happen. Trauma is awful
Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry to hear that! That is utterly heartbreaking. It drives me crazy when people comment about how a person must be so lazy to live in these conditions. I just think, have you really never met anyone who has had trauma or mental health struggles? It does devastating things. I so wish I could come help you with your situation. It sounds devastating to deal with.😪 My best wishes for your future.💕🙏
Cleaning the wicker etagere for me is hosing it down and letting it air dry. It not only cleans every nook and cranny, it tightens up the lacing. I have been doing this for years with mine and it looks as good as new. Plus it remains sturdy.

I loved the sheet folding! My folding is not as good but it will be now! I do take my sheet sets & put them in one of the pillow cases & envelope fold the pillow case. It keeps the set together.
I'm so happy Mariah was able to escape. I hope she knows now with your help that she has a community of people out there who would support her, she's not alone despite what perpetrators will tell you.
He will still find things to huff about because he knows the buttons to push. But at least she is able to lighten his old footprint in her home. Wonderful work.❤
Here’s a tip on sheets. Sets with pillowcases, all parts get stored in one pillowcase. Top/bottom sheet set, use a large ziploc bag, or a bag with zipper that the sheets were originally in. Use permanent marker to say the size of the sheets on the plastic bags.
Ziplock bag for sheets. What a great idea, and so simple! Why hadn't I thought of that. I was thinking about sewing coloured string in the corner. We mostly have 140 cm wide sheets, but also a few 90 cm ones and they always get lost. No more, thank you. *55" and 35" wide. I don't know what it is in the USAmerican "named sizes system"
TISHA FOR THE SAVE!!!!! You’ve blessed this human with such reduced anxiety, it’s amazing what can happen physically when your nervous system can relax….such a beautiful and peaceful space
Yay for tisha! She has a past along a lot of great stuff to the people that I help. I love making those connections. Also, you are more spot-on than you know with the reduced anxiety comment. I will actually talk about that either in my next video or the one after that because this woman had an experience with that feeling of pure joy which she said she had never really felt before when it comes to "domestic stuff." It was such a cool moment.😊💕
What a beautiful home and sweet owner. Im glad you were able to help! Living with abuse tears us down, it takes awhile to gain our footing again. What a blessing you were to her 🤗💜
Hey Bonnie! I'm doing a move-out/move-in deep clean of my sister's kitchen. You, Barbie, and Mack motivate me like nothin' else. So while I won't be sitting and watching the whole video, I'll have your voice-over to keep me going! My cat Louie and I are sending love from Texas!
I LOVED watching you and Cydnie folding the sheets. She learned so fast about the fitted sheets and she’s a sweet girl and you, Coline, are patient. You two just work well together.
Loved the sheets folding!! My very first job as a driving teenager was as a maid in a hotel and then moved up to the laundry and i didnt have any option but to fold those sheets perfectly or get gone so watching y'all do that really brought back memories!! I still cant get my own daughter to fold hers correctly. Bless you for helping this gal shine!! Thats a tough pill to swallow but not as tough as loosing your hubby after 44 years. 😢
I did. In November while he was on a vacation with his friend in CA and although we have his ashes back home, we still have no cause of death. Every day gets better for us as I know he's in a blessed place and there is no more pain. So I cherish my videos watching y'all clean which motivates me to keep moving on. Thank you for noticing me and my last line when responding to this video. 😘
I'm so sorry. That must be so hard not to have answers. I am glad you believe he is in a blessed place. I believe so, too. Much love and peace to you.🙏😘
All power to Mariah or whatever her name is. Im a domestic abuse survivor too. Even though Ive been out of the relationship for a while I still have flashbacks. I think a lot of people who dealt with trauma use cleaning to soothe themselves.
Love this video! Your sheet lessons was a hoot. I'm 62 and was taught how to fold fitted sheets when I was about 8. Thanks for sharing all of your ideas 💡. ❤❤❤
Hi Bonnie Mack from Midwest magic cleaning said to check you out. I enjoyed watching you help that lady learn how to fold sheets because I had to teach my younger sister how to do that. My mother never figured out how to fold those sheets. So I found that a little funny. Bless you for helping people out and take care.
Organizing pantries seems to be your secret superpower! I love it! And those mini brushes are such a good suggestion. You are a great teacher to Sydney 💙 Sending love to both of you X😘
Tip for shelves…other than repainting to make them look clean, you can put down shelf liner. That has worked wonders for me! If you don’t want it to be a long term solution, use the non adhesive type.
Omg hahaha you used my name! I had a busy week so it took a while for me to get here but I appreciate it, I hope other Mariah is happy and getting all the help she needs 💛❤
Love the pantry b4 & after!! Big S/O to mariah fir getting out!! Asking for help; starting her new freeing, healthier journey!!🎉❤🎉❤ ( survivor of DV; here) awesomeness on new dw , and blessings to all!! Ty syndney!! Always eager to check out new channel!! God bless 🎉❤🎉 Cant wait next week!
Love the pantry and yes instant pot for beans are great you just need to soak them if you have never used an instant pot it can be a learning curve. With dried beans
Thanks for the sheet folding tutorial. I usually fold the top sheet in half and in half again...then put the folded bottom sheet and the two folded matching pillow cases on top of each other on one end of the flat sheet...fold that into thirds so I have one package of the bottom, top & matching pillow cases in one package...but I'm also going to try to fold the top sheet in on itself if I can. Loved watching you and bless you for helping others!
To clean wicker, vacuum first like the others said, then spray with half water and half Murphy’s Oil Soap.(small items like baskets can then be rinsed and hung to dry in the shower but something large like that etagere can be sprayed and just let dry- the oil soap not only cleans but also nourishes the wicker). About spices,I store them all in two dollar store baskets, one for baking, one for cooking.I just pull out the whole basket when I’m going to bake and write an abbreviation on the lid with a sharpie, like “C of T” for cream of tartar.
happy new year! loved your tutorial on folding sheets! I was taught by an ex brother in law! I could fold my double sheets really well, but we finally upgraded to a queen bed and I hate hate hate folding them! I am like Sydney, I am 4'9! so it is a stretch to reach the corners! loved the vid and what you do for people! thanks for sharing! xoxo
I'm so glad the other woman got the new dishwasher 🎉 every person should watch the section on folding the fitted sheets!! I used to take great care folding those but most people don't 😂
There is just something super satisfying about folding fitted sheets. I know it's not really a necessary life skill, but I get a lot of joy out of seeing a perfectly folded stack of sheets...LOL!
Happy new year! I love folding and I let the size of the shelve dictate the outcome. Your piles of sheets were beautiful! She learned the folding very quickly and I am sure she will get addicted to the new look of her shelves 😍 I´m going to try the envelope bit, thanks for teaching me.
Bless you! You both are a beautiful souls! I love it when people are non judging and compassionate to there fellow human. I love your cleaning videos! I myself am a compulsive cleaner, and im afraid between your videos and midwest magic cleanings videos have exacerbated my compulsive cleaning!!! you guys are amazing people!
Hi, Bonnie and Cydnie! Great work on the house. My problem is remembering how to do the fitted sheets no matter how many times I watch it! Lol Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and have a happy New Year! x
If you pull the entire door off on the bottom is 1-2 large opening that you can place a cloth on a metal clothes hanger or something and actually push up into it and clean without having to take it all apart and put it back together you can also add cleaner and so it wet as well! A huge time saver and so much easier since I started doing it that way!
Another tip for folding sheets/storing them is that when you fold the pillowcases before the last fold place the folded top and bottom sheet and 2nd pillowcase on there and then enclose the sheets in the pillowcase.
I just subscribed to "We clean for free". A dear couple. Thanks for your recommendation in supporting their channel. All of "you" helping people in need are awesome.💗
Awesome! Thank you so much! I love that there are so many channels in this niche popping up. I think there is a huge need for services like this all over the world.
im trying the fitted sheet folding, i always get it twisted when looking for the corners the second time, corners 3 and 4 (I saved the video and will rewatch and try to get it, but i was working with a large one)
It gets trickier with the bigger sheets. I had never folded a king-size before until I went and helped at my brother's laundromat. Holy moly, those are hard to fold because they are so gigantic!
@@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp oh phew, it's not just me then haha, I have a 47inch wide bed, not sure what that would be called, (120*200 in centimeters) - I did end up having it somewhat folded, more than it was before, so yay for that 😅
Found a series I missed just now. Had to check for music and I will be watching this series today on my breaks as I am decluttering and organizing my kitchen a corner at a time. Oh and if you need a name you can use mine LOL You just don't know how much you are helping me and now my daughter is also decluttering her house as she is helping me with things I can not do. Yesterday she and her husband came and helped me move all my canners and I mean canners to the garage where I have a metal set of shelves from Sam's club. Where I can have all of them together and not scattered from the garage to the kitchen. I am so happy my goal is this week to be able to do my kitchen I took the whole week off from work. I do embroidery for a store nearby and this si our less busy season so I took the whole week off.
Sounds like the perfect week to me.😅 And so amazing that your daughter and her husband were able to come help you move some stuff. I will jot down your name as one to possibly use in the future for a video. Thanks for lending your name. 😊👍
@@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp Bonnie, I am 70 and I never liked my name growing up But Mommy said she named me after a woman who helped her when she was expecting me she had a miscarriage with my twin when she was 4 months along and then she had me I was the first child of hers that was born in the hospital there in Southeastern Ky Now after all these years, I do like my name finally :) I would be honored if you used my name in a video.
4'10" is perfect! My great-grandmother was 4'6", one of her daughters was 4'8", my grandmother was 4'10', my mother was just under 5 feet, and I made it to almost 5'3" The BEST gifts come in small packages! 🎁 😊
I thought of saying that exact thing as I rolled by those beautiful beans. 😁I just wasn't sure how many non-Americans would know what the heck I was talking about and I didn't have enough time to explain where that phrase came from. 😅 I probably should have just said it anyway. But, I'm glad you thought of that too!
I put the sets together and put them in the matching pillowcase. Then you also know if you are missing any of the set. ❤❤❤ Most of the time I wash the sheets and put them back on the bed.
Ty for the fitted sheet folding demonstration. Never have been good at it and this is the best way I've ever seen❤. Also great job with all the help you give others as well as your compassion.
cleaning wicker - empty it, take it outside and use a high powered leaf blower on it! If more scrubbing needed - power wash or outdoor window/siding cleaner that attaches to a hose. Let dry in sun. You do amazing work!
Thank you for helping All these Lovely People ❤ Little Tip: your baking soda mix will work better with white vinegar instead of water, and for the wicker shelves try the swiffer/ flash dust magnets.❤ Lots of Love from Scotland ❤
Thank you so much!! Someone else just mentioned that. I have come a long way. I don't think I'll ever be the most amazing speaker just because I process things a little slower, but a little bit of improvement with each video is still a step forward. Thanks so much.🙏❤️
I have very little spice cabinet space so I use the easiest accessible area of my pantry and on the lower shelf I put a two tiered pull out strong wire drawer and above that I have a 1.5” lipped “bin” to hold some extra spices. Once the kids move out, I’m going to shrink to regular sized bottle, cuz the Costco sizes take up so much room. I keep acrylic bins to put packet mixes, baking items that sit in front of the sugar and flour. I also have a 9 row (3x3) can organizer and have it double decker on the top deep shelf. I use a step stool nearly daily in my kitchen that’s quick fold and store behind the garbage can. The can organizer has been helping me NOT over-buy items. I’ve stopped stocking up on random items and keeping a tiny stock of the items I use regularly, the top rows is for Costco over stock on staples like corn, green beans and tomato sauce. It’s so much more manageable now and I can tell my family where something is and they can actually find things.
Happy New Year and so glad you’re back, great job! I just got that same scraper set and love it! I’ve used scrapers for years but that set is awesome! Sydney is doing an awesome job, love her❤. No worries, I’m short too, 4’9” and hate even pillowcases lol😂, almost as long as I am tall
Vinegar and baking soda do neutralise each other, but they react together first. I always thought it was the foaming action from the reaction which helped to lift the dirt? I can't use vinegar because I'm allergic but I use citric acid and bicarbonate of soda for cleaning tough stains. Its great on stains below the waterline on the toilet (seems to loosen stains to help scrub them off).
I’ve found if you put the baking soda on and let it dry and then spray it with vinegar from a spray bottle and let it sit, it works. If it’s thick spots you just have to do it one more time or maybe twice on the persistent spots. Also the no scratch scrubbers work well. I’m too scared to take apart my oven door so am super careful when cleaning it to not let any fluid get into it. And sheet folding is something my aunt taught me when I was helping her one day at a too old to not know how age. I was so so grateful and always think of her when I do sheet folding now. The halves vs thirds is really the secret once you learn to tuck corners into corners and make the big rectangle or square. And I think smaller sheets can be mostly folded in halves where bigger sheets need thirds toward the end. It’s a mundane but very effective to know piece of info. Lol And you did good with the pantry spices. I have cabinets like thay pantry shelf where part of them go deep into the wall wigh the front covered so one I have a lazy Susan with lesser used spices and herbs then two rectangular dollar tree desk sorters sitting the long way so they can at least contain some of the bottles. I still have to look behind the first one but it’s easier than a bunch of loose jars. I do like the pull out spice shelves that pull forward but if you cook spontaneously, it’s nice to see what options you have when creating a meal. Some people alphabetize them. I prefer to place them by now frequently they are used, putting the frequent ones in front and easy to grab , second most often used in back and then the less used go on the lazy Susan. I also put baking spices and extracts by themselves in a plastic shoebox with no lid and it makes finding baking spices and extracts super fast. I also keep baking powder and baking soda there and then have a container each of flour and sugar. And also where she had many enveloped grains and such, she can get a basket to contain then and make a little hang label for the front listing what goes in it. Even a cut down cardboard box works in a low income pinch. Just started following this lady’s story and am so proud of her for changing her life, asking for help where needed and having a therapist to help her deal with things that are hard to let go of. She has a bright future with her growth potential and willingness to accept support. Good job helping her out. So many women are in the same shoes for various reasons and this story of abuse and resulting ptsd freeze in ability to make decisions is a common one sadly.
Taking pics of kids art and making a scrapbook can be helpful. Then you have memories to look at without keeping the items. A few pics and some of their printing/writing throughout their school years is neat!
Since Cydnie has struggled with the same thing, she suggested this to Mariah. The only problem is, she didn't have any more room left on her phone to store pictures and needed to figure out how to get some of them off of there. I think next time I'm there this week, I'm going to see if we can get those transferred for her so that she can start taking those pictures.
i have been to a place in colorado called mesa verde. i used to live on the west coast and traveled there w/ mom on vacation. NOW, my sister lives right next to it. when that place was first discovered they found (early to mid- 20th century) a jar full of corn kernels and one full of beautiful red and white beans now known as 'anasazi beans'. they are pretty sure theyd been sitting there approximately 800 years!!!!!!! the only thing protecting them was a small bowl over the top of each jar to keep critters out. they planted them and they grew!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we eat them today, and theyre wonderful. different from anything youve ever tasted. go to 'dove creek milling, in colorado and order some if youd like to taste them. you wont regret it. they need to have a drier soil condition to flourish. they dont do well in a wet environment. i tried.
That is so cool! We actually have some friends who just moved to a city very close to Mesa Verde and we plan to go visit them sometime and visit Mesa Verde while we are there.
Lol.. it's a good thing it's really not that important how you fold a sheet. It's just really satisfying to see it all perfectly folded, but just throw it in the linen closet and shut the door and pretend it's folded perfectly if you need to.😅👍

Yes! I was hoping you'd realize that. I did change the spelling to the more American version, but, yes, thanks for lending your name to my video!😄❤️
God bless 🎉❤🎉
Cant wait next week!
I'm so excited that I can now fold bottom sheets! Makes my linens look so much neater. Thank you!
Wonderful!👏❤️
So nice to have a helper again. Thanks Bonnie, great work!
Love watching wecleanforfree . So funny and interactive with each other.
They're great!
This was so good. A satisfying cleaning as always, this is just the fresh start she needs.
I use the vacuum hose with the brush attachment to dust my wicker furniture. It just sucks the dust right out of any & all crevices.😊💕
😊💖💖
I clean wicker by vacuuming it using the brush. Works great. ❤
Happy New Year Bonnie! The best way to clean wicker is to vacuum using the brush attachment.
Yep, that's the way I clean mine. Nothing else is as effective in my opinion 😊
I hit the comments for just this advice. I knew someone would have an idea.
I love all the advice on the Wicker... and the suggestion with the spices. Great ideas!
❤ i was today years old when i learned how to fold a bottom sheet! Thank you and Happy New Year.🎉
Yay!👏 😅❤️
@stephanie
@stephaniefinley7833 your comment was funny
This video was worth watching just for the tutorial on folding a fitted sheet 🙌🏻
happy new year! loved your tutorial on folding sheets! I was taught by an ex brother in law! I could fold my double sheets really well, but we finally upgraded to a queen bed and I hate hate hate folding them! I am like Sydney, I am 4'9! so it is a stretch to reach the corners! loved the vid and what you do for people! thanks for sharing! xoxo
Great to learn how to fold fitted sheets at last 👍
Loved the small pantry hug. So cute!
Happy New Year Bonnie! ❤ Thank goodness I don’t have all those sheets! A lovely clean! See you next time! 😊
You are such an inspiration. ❤
Wonderful work as always. I wish Mariah all the best.
Thank you very much!
Fantastic job by you and Sydney (sorry if I spelled wrong). This was good little projects completed. Glad dishwasher is working out for her. ❤
Happy New Year and welcome back. Great job helping Mariah give her my best regards.
Bonnie- I “found” your channel through Mack and have been binge watching since. Thank you for all you do. 💕
Aw, thank you. I'm really glad you're here!❤️❤️❤️
Great job!
🥰🙏
I think you are doing a great job on all of this God bless you 🙏❤️
Thank you so much!
Hi, Bonnie and Cydnie! Great work on the house. My problem is remembering how to do the fitted sheets no matter how many times I watch it! Lol Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and have a happy New Year! x
LOL! Thank you. The holidays were wonderful!
Love your channel- I found you before Mack did. i just wish one of you lived closer to me
And I'm so glad you did find me! I, too, wish I lived closer.🤔😊
Another tip for folding sheets/storing them is that when you fold the pillowcases before the last fold place the folded top and bottom sheet and 2nd pillowcase on there and then enclose the sheets in the pillowcase.
that's what I do. Keeps everything together neatly.
I really like when u show which products u are using ❤
im trying the fitted sheet folding, i always get it twisted when looking for the corners the second time, corners 3 and 4 (I saved the video and will rewatch and try to get it, but i was working with a large one)
@@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp Bonnie, I am 70 and I never liked my name growing up But Mommy said she named me after a woman who helped her when she was expecting me she had a miscarriage with my twin when she was 4 months along and then she had me I was the first child of hers that was born in the hospital there in Southeastern Ky
Now after all these years, I do like my name finally :) I would be honored if you used my name in a video.
This is ao nice of you and needed
I like the way you organized the pantry.
Oh, thank you!
4'10" is perfect! My great-grandmother was 4'6", one of her daughters was 4'8", my grandmother was 4'10', my mother was just under 5 feet, and I made it to almost 5'3"
The BEST gifts come in small packages! 🎁 😊
I agree. Love my cute little friends!💕
Oh girl, you rolled that beautiful bean footage!!😂
I thought of saying that exact thing as I rolled by those beautiful beans. 😁I just wasn't sure how many non-Americans would know what the heck I was talking about and I didn't have enough time to explain where that phrase came from. 😅 I probably should have just said it anyway. But, I'm glad you thought of that too!
I put the sets together and put them in the matching pillowcase. Then you also know if you are missing any of the set. ❤❤❤ Most of the time I wash the sheets and put them back on the bed.
Love the sheet talk ladies!!❤
Ty for the fitted sheet folding demonstration. Never have been good at it and this is the best way I've ever seen❤. Also great job with all the help you give others as well as your compassion.
Awesome! Thank you!😊
Just ordered my brushes and scrapers thank you for the links
Awesome! Hope you love them as much as I do.🥰
cleaning wicker - empty it, take it outside and use a high powered leaf blower on it! If more scrubbing needed - power wash or outdoor window/siding cleaner that attaches to a hose. Let dry in sun. You do amazing work!
Thank you for helping All these Lovely People ❤
Little Tip: your baking soda mix will work better with white vinegar instead of water, and for the wicker shelves try the swiffer/ flash dust magnets.❤
Lots of Love from Scotland ❤
This was a great video! And I love how you are sounding more confident every time!
Thank you so much!! Someone else just mentioned that. I have come a long way. I don't think I'll ever be the most amazing speaker just because I process things a little slower, but a little bit of improvement with each video is still a step forward. Thanks so much.🙏❤️
❤❤❤❤
Thanks
Love that sectional! Thank you for the tutorial on folding fitted sheets! lol Love your channel ❤️
Thanks so much! 😊
Haha...yes, the struggle for my shorties is real!😅❤️
Another great video from an outstanding TH-cam creator. Love your channel!!!
Wow, thank you!
So satisfying...thanks ❤😊
Vinegar and baking soda do neutralise each other, but they react together first. I always thought it was the foaming action from the reaction which helped to lift the dirt? I can't use vinegar because I'm allergic but I use citric acid and bicarbonate of soda for cleaning tough stains. Its great on stains below the waterline on the toilet (seems to loosen stains to help scrub them off).
To spruce up wicker furniture, hoover using soft brush hand attachment then a quick wipe with a damp cloth.
Good 👍🏾 blessings, ☺️ awesome job 💯
Thank you! 🤗
Lol
And you did good with the pantry spices.
Thanks for sharing! I love hearing how people manage different things in their kitchens. ❤️👍
@@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp me too which is why I’m learning from you as well! Thanks for the kind work you do for people. It’s inspiring.
Happy New Year! Nice job Bonnie.
Happy new year! Thank you!
You are the best Bonnie!
This is amazing!
i've discovered so many good small channels through you!
Mesa Verde is just spectacular! We visited there a couple of years ago. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and just amazing.
How to fold fitted sheets. I learned something new
What a beautiful walkin pantry!
Great job ladies❤
Thank you! 🤗
Love this! I need help with sheet folding!
Lol.. it's a good thing it's really not that important how you fold a sheet. It's just really satisfying to see it all perfectly folded, but just throw it in the linen closet and shut the door and pretend it's folded perfectly if you need to.😅👍
