I'm a total list maker for packing...literally will write down each day / activities and then write out my outfit ideas and then pack from there. I will do this on my phone or write it down depending on how busy I am. When in doubt, I am always an over packer 😂 Can't wait to see these upcoming travel vlogs!

I like Carriee's advice. I also have a lot of Costco clothes and if that helps get a grand suite - that is awesome. I agree with packing light - it is so nice (we generally do carry on only). You can also buy more if you need it, but we rarely do.

When it comes to packing lists, I’m a bit “extra”. I have one for regular trips, one for trips to cold places, one for Cruises and another one for DISNEY cruises (to include door magnets & pixie dust) 😬 excited to see the cruise vlogs!
I also love pen and paper over digital! I love office supplies 😂. I have that travel pillow and it is amazing! 🤩 can’t wait to see what you think about Royal.
I gave my husband a very similar pill case and he was overly excited about it too lol. Guess we’ve reached the age where we nerd out over this stuff now! 😂
Please compare this RC cruise to DCL when you come back. My family, like yours, has done several DCL cruises but has never tried RC. My son will be 13 soon and I think he may be more interested in the things to do on RC now that he will age out of the Imagineers Clubs on DCL. Thanks in advance.

If not go to the thrift shops as many high priced clothing can be even cheaper than Costco. I picked a j crew long sleeve top for £1 a few weeks ago and many are like new.
I’m on team Carrie. I write out my lists then add or check off if it’s packed. Oh love Costco’s clothes. You guys are amazing. ❤❤. P.S. my husband says my lists are scary because it shows him how my mind thinks. Lol. You can only imagine what my lists look like when I’m done packing. Hahaha

That was the worst part of RCI for us, no laundry where we could do it. You are already onboard so won’t see this but do laundry when they offer a special but only certain items can be included.
It actually started very comfortable for the first two or three days, but the last four days in New York City were incredibly hot when you added in the humidity 😅
Those magnetic hooks don’t work in the Wonder or the Magic for Disney cruise line, so not every cruise ship has magnetic walls. Most newer ships, if not all newer ships have that ability from what we’ve experienced though.

Although we like DCL’s luggage tag the best, the way RC does paper tags also make it really easy 😊
