I've tried this nearly impossible to get these 3 simple things. Either I get the cards but not the artifact to make them work...
The good thing is the IC has so many other ways to either draw or generate energy.

I'm not sure, I haven't had a chance to play the board game, unfortunately. It's a steep price tag for me.
It does not work in the board game. I actually don't know of any infinite combos in the board game. The relics work much differently
no, sundial only triggers on a dice roll instead of deck shuffle, there exists an infinite, as there is an achievement for it but they made it so they are way harder to get.
