One thing about the US, there is no shortage of cheap cars, just homes. What a sad situation for so many people now

Hope it gets better, the homeless population in Baltimore is rather small compared to California , it’s a tragedy everywhere 💔

unfortunately it will never get better. Fast forward to the year 2044, people will be saying "I hope the homeless situation will get better".

Here’s hoping that these people in this terribly hopeless situation will get some help. Not just government that needs a reset of priorities but also the public, need to stop seeing this as somebody else’s problem that needs somebody else needs to fix, it’s everybody’s problem that needs everybody to help fix. Not just USA but worldwide, where’s human compassion gone?

    I can’t believe u went where I mentioned
I 💕Oakland and it is so sad to see what has become of it
Very obvious issues with addiction and mental healthcare
The people were let out of in patient programs that abruptly closed and became VOLUNTARY outpatient services for mental health with months long to wait
This combined with addiction and excess availability of narcotics is a huge issue
The gang violence is between 73rd and 105th Ave primarily but the poverty is now widespread
There was a Walmart near the Coliseum that closed a few yrs back and that parkinglot takes hrs to move out the caravan of homeless people when they have events there
    It is straight Gotham city
People come from all around and become Oakland campers because there is more acceptance and access to services
The issue with the “services” are none are to eliminate or resolve homelessness the services are to maintain homelessness and keep them returning for additional services
So they give tents, lunches, clean needles etc but not housing
Just like I said San Leandro Blvd in between Lake Merrit Station and Fruitvale District yep
Also International/E14th x High Street and the area behind High Street also the San Leandro Marina
