Thank you. I may put it into a quilting contest as a part of a forest scene. I will be sure to credit you and your website, as specified in the directions, which I just bought via Etsy. Thank you!
Could anyone tell me how I might make this smaller? I'm already using teeny crochet thread, but want it a bit shorter/smaller overall for my purposes. Would I start partway through the pattern, or would it be better to begin with the same number of pinnules on the first pinna, then decrease more rapidly (and if the latter, which I suspect would look nicer, thoughts on which pinnules to eliminate to make each descending pinna smaller)? TIA!
Hi there, How would I make this beautiful fern leaf stiff ? I’ll be using it with a flower for a wedding button hole, so I need it to hold itself up & not be floppy. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance 🙃
Hi Claire, I like to use spray starch with my doilies and table runners, you could try that, it works well! I love your idea to decorate wedding button hole with it!
Fabric stiffener works wonderful. I make little Victorian fans for my Christmas tree and stiffen them with fabric stiffener using a painting brush over a hard surface like glass.
Thank you so much! This fern pattern was a lot easier to follow.
You are welcome, and thank you too! Very glad to hear!
Awesome! Thanks ❤

Sounds like you need to do quite a bit experimenting with the pattern. I encourage this to find the best result for you! Happy crocheting!

Very beautiful. How to block it.? Thanks...
I block my items by attaching them to blocking mats with pins, make them wet and spray some starch.
