I swear you read my mind Sommelier. I was going to suggest you play the recent March release of Kandace Springs 'The Women Who raised me". Besides Solitude, her cover of "Pearls" (Sade), and "You got a Spell on me" are fantastic. Keep serving that find musical wine, we are intoxicated by it. Thank you.
The equipment is beautiful. The music selection was too slow to really hear more bass. However as you panned to the camera towards the other speakers & components I was in music paradise. State of the art systems: A definite 👍 yes..!
I would like to hear the Monitor Audio Studio 2.5 Gold - Rare Edition to play! Can you find them and demonstrate the SOUND they "throw out"? It would be awesome 👌
q. did you consider pairing the nu-vista cd with the nu-vista 800? (note: would really like to hear these 805's with this combo) cheers - btw the Michi units do work well - the recently announced X3 & X5 look like stellar value - no doubt we'll hear them very soon!
Complimenti per il set up da sogno....ma ho una domanda: le B&W 805 hanno un range di potenza raccomandata da 50 a 120W e qui le vedo collegate al bellissimo Ampli MICHI con ben 500W in 8 Ohm.... non si rischia di danneggiarle? Grazie. Buona serata.

Completely different sound signatures. Adante has a beautiful muscular reproduction with lot of slam and fullness but unrefined highs. 805 has unbelievable details and tridimensionality but does not forgive poor recordings at all

IMO, the last great 805 was the 805S with Kevlar woofer and aluminum dome Nautilus tweeter. Each succeeding generation has gotten more sucked out in the midrange and brighter on top, to the point of being fake sounding and unlistenable. The 805S was much more balanced and natural sounding, and wasn't trying too hard to sound "Hi-Fi".

The start of high end. Sounds effortless. In a treated room could sound more real....

Do you find the Michi is best for the 805s. I own these and use a Parasound Hint 6 with two Rel T7x. Thanks
Which one would you prefer driving 805D3 and why? McIntosh MC302, Mark Levinson 532H, or Classe CA-2300?
