Did they install a tap in your yard and then bury the cable to your house? We had the field tec come out and he couldnt find a tap to service us. They are supposed to have a crew arriving today, but if they dont I have some choice words for spectrum becsuse we already signed up and paid.
Nah they didn’t have to. I already had a pre-existing service and the cable I had buried underground had gone bad and needed to be replaced, so Spectrum installed a new cable and came out a few days later to bury the existing cable. Give me a update on what happened with your situation
@@ryanlaneplaincity To make a long story short, the first field teq that came out was lazy or he didnt know what he was doing. The spectrum construction department came out and determined that the house was servicable without building a tap. The 2nd field teq comes out and goes straight to the telephone pole, and says yeah you guys are servicable, Took him about 3 hours to do all the work. Now the only thing im worried about is the exposed cable from the telephone pole all the way to the house. He said it would take a couple of days for another crew to come out and bury the cable, but its been a week already.
@@MARQ101HVC just read it. I’d say give them a call and see what’s going on. My cable layed in my yard for about 10 days until the day I recorded this video we are commenting on
But did you put your cones out?
❤❤❤
We are waiting for them to come out to our house, we have conduit in place so hopefully they won’t have to dig.
Even if they do, it’s really simple and don’t take long at all
Curious if you know how deep they buried the cable?
I honestly don’t know. Just a few inches I believe
4 inches l’m a contractor for itg
Hey how do you get those contracts?
I don’t know. I was the customer
