Very nice car. I've got a gc8 WRX running completely stock. When the engine inevitably dies I'll be looking at doing something like this. You are not wrong with them becoming rare and the power to weight ratio is fantastic in these.

i did that to my SF5 forester - ej207 spec c sti jdm = ej205 heads - with brian crower valve gear - gt28/60 565cc injectors = 365 hp at the crank

I have a 2000 that is completely factory and was a literal barn find, after give or take 7 years, a new battery, fuel and fluid flush and new plugs, she fired up and is being restored as we speak, nothing drives like these do anymore

How did you control the additional airflow for ALS? Throttle jacker?

I'm preparing a V8 EJ207 for my '95. What BOV is on this car? A lot of the ones I have heard sound silly but this sound really good!

Do you get a lot of heat soak using that turbo with the stock intercooler?
Good question! Ultimately, any top mount intercooler will get some heat soak when there isn't air passing through it (so when the car isn't moving). The stock intercooler in this case is also too small for the turbo on here, so it's limiting the power. Since this video, we've upgraded the top mount and been able to increase the power - we'll post an update video sometime soon so make sure to subscribe :)
